Spacious hotel room with ensuite bath in a timber-frame strawbale building that combines traditional style with modern comfort. Enjoy our swimming pool and adjoining cafe, set in a fig orchard in the quiet countryside of Aegean Turkey.
As seen on TV! For about a year we were filmed for a show called “Our Dream Hotel”, about newcomers to the hotel industry. So far we’ve been on in the Netherlands, Australia, the UK, Sweden, New Zealand, and Canada.

The space
The room is set up as a studio bedroom, and is around 35 square metres. The space includes a private bathroom with shower, a kitchenette area, a wardrobe, table and chairs, a coffee table, and a large sofa. The sofa could be used as a daybed or for kids to sleep on. There is also a private veranda (an additional 12 square metres) overlooking an olive grove.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to use the pool and its large surrounding sun terrace, and the adjoining cafe where we serve breakfast. The cafe is open for other meals by prior arrangement. We are also happy to do packed lunches if you want to spend the day touring the archaeological sites; just let us know. Parking is available at the property

After 20 years living in the UK and Germany, my Australian partner Jason and I had had enough of the cold weather and decided to build a guest house in the beautiful Aegean region of Turkey. For many years we've been interested in green building techniques, so it was natural for us to use timber-frame straw-bale construction.

We're new to the hospitality industry but have always enjoyed cooking and entertaining. We hope that visitors in search of summer sun and local experiences will find our place to be a relaxing oasis in the countryside, and return from their holiday with batteries fully recharged.

Between us we're interested in reading, movies, gardening, and history. Whether you want to see all the archaeological sites or just relax by the pool, we look forward to meeting you.
