Family-friendly holiday rentals in Houten

This is such a special place! We absolutely loved our stay - it was the perfect place to unwind, slow down and be still. Rob was a great host and made us feel really at home . I highly recommend staying in Robs house and we’re keen to return!!

very nice stay at Jolanda in the safari tent. very responsive host, very friendly, and so nice we could buy from her some food as we did dare to go shopping after a day of cycling. beautiful and peaceful place...i will come back for sure.

We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easy to reach. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

We had a wonderful time in this spacious and cozy villa in Utrecht. The apartment exudes a feel-good atmosphere and is perfectly equipped. Utrecht has a lot to offer, and from the property, a lot is within walking distance, easily accessible by bike or car. The location is very quiet, but still close to everything you need. The landlord is very nice and helpful. We can highly recommend this place!

Authentic farmhouse with a beautiful garden with various seating areas and a cabin for the later hours. BBQ, trampoline, hot tub (not used) and a campfire area. Ideal for friends and family weekend at the same time. Certainly not cheap, but if you make full use of it with 8 people then it is fair. In the wide area cycling along the Maas is a must. We made a Solex tour from Herpen (boerensolex) recommended by Tom. Golden tip. Furthermore, the Militraks museum visited a 35-minute drive away.

Very pleasant communication and Margreet was easily accessible, nice place, sauna easy to use. Many (sunny) seats in the garden, nice cozy and clean cottage, in reality it feels a bit more spacious. Made beautiful walks nearby. You can walk into the village for a restaurant, supermarket or fresh bread.

Nice apartment with lovely jacuzzi in a closed part of the garden. Very private and wonderful for a weekend away from the busy daily life. Nice kitchen, good bed and good shower. Even a washing machine (not used but still).

Great place! Private and peaceful. 10 minutes from a forest. 15 minute bus into city centre. Between city and nature. Perfect!

Great hosts and such a beautiful setting. We loved that there were animals and things for the kids to play with, the treehouse was a huge hit with the kids. The hosts were very friendly and were very laid back with our 3 boys, very friendly dogs the kids loved playing with in one of the grassy areas. The place was pleasantly secluded, we could sit out alone and have a lovely mealtimes overlooking fields with views of the village in the distance.

We had a lovely time on Peter's houseboat. The location is great. Only a 15 minute walk to the station and the center yet incredibly peaceful. Everything we needed was available and we enjoyed the first rays of the spring sun on the dock in front of the houseboat. The daily visit from a group of geese was quite the highlight for our little boy. Peter welcomed us when we first arrived and was very accommodating and responsive to our questions. We explored the corners of Utrecht and beyond with the bike and can only recommend this lovely city. So many beautiful historic buildings, lovely canals and quaint little cafes and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

The place was nice, equipped with loads of kids activities, nice lake, and play area. We really enjoyed our stay. On arrival couple of things were missing, but Karsten responded immediately. I would definitely recommend and would plan for long stay in future.

Everything was very nice and to our surprise the flat was even bigger than it seemed on the fotos. Sharing the flat for 2 nights with 4 adults was no problem. The communcation with Nevin was really easy and pleasant. The flat is rather close to the beautiful city center, which is only a 15-20 min walk away. Parking is a bit tricky, since it is very expensive and there's no free parking basically anywhere in Utrecht, so I would advise to come by train, if possible. All in all we had a very pleasant stay :)

Nice, atmospheric, super clean and inviting. The hosts were very welcoming and super helpfull. We love the fresh strawberries from their garden. We love the heated floors. The area is great for bicycle riding, to enjoy pastures, castles and windmills. Also there is the opportunity for buying fresh cherries, jam and eggs.

I had a wonderful stay at Philip's in Utrecht.

This was a perfect house to visit Utrecht. Quiet area and a 5 min walk to be in the centre of town. Tons and Peter were lovely hosts. Great communication and they met us to show us round the house. We loved sitting on the balcony and in the little garden. Utrecht was hot but the house remained cool as it’s surrounded by gardens and trees which was a delight.

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything was fine for us ☀️

We had a very nice and fun Ascension weekend with our family, nice and relaxed. The grandchildren enjoyed a wide variety of toys and the large and beautiful go-kart track with beautiful go-karts. Also beautiful walks in a beautiful nature rich environment.

Wonderful cabin in the woods. It is very cozy and relaxing to stay there.

The house was exactly as described. The location is amazing, and the patio is out of this world. We had a great time!

Excellent stay for 2 families. The garden with the view of the lake just magical. Very quiet. In the middle of nature and still close to shops and restaurants. Thanks for the loan of the bikes and boat. It was awesome to get around on the water. The area is beautiful and within reasonable distance of different cities to visit . Floris is a thoughtful host (Easter decor, welcome gifts...) and responded during the day to our messages. The house was very spacious and very clean. Authentic charm of an old farmhouse. Thanks for the real break

Steven was absolutely amazing! The boat is lovely and well situated and he went absolutely above and beyond to help us out on our stay - he even brought us out on his tugboat for a test run! Could not recommend enough thank you so much for our stay 😊😊

The equipment of the apartment is high quality and impeccably clean. Ellen was easy to reach and very friendly. It was a dream stay. We can only recommend it.
