Family-friendly holiday rentals in Houten

This is such a special place! We absolutely loved our stay - it was the perfect place to unwind, slow down and be still. Rob was a great host and made us feel really at home . I highly recommend staying in Robs house and we’re keen to return!!

We had a wonderful weekend at the location :) The host Stefanie was really helpful with all our questions and everything was communicated clearly upfront by the owners.

very nice stay at Jolanda in the safari tent. very responsive host, very friendly, and so nice we could buy from her some food as we did dare to go shopping after a day of cycling. beautiful and peaceful place...i will come back for sure.

Wir waren für ein Wochenende in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit den Fahrrädern konnte man die nahe gelegene Metrostation gut erreichen und wir haben eine gute Zeit in Amsterdam gehabt. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und immer gut erreichbar. Ich kann diese Unterkunft für Amsterdam Aufenthalte sehr empfehlen.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser großzügigen und gemütlichen Villa in Utrecht. Die Wohnung strahlt eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre aus und ist perfekt ausgestattet. Utrecht hat viel zu bieten, und von der Unterkunft aus ist vieles fußläufig, mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto leicht zu erreichen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber dennoch nahe an allem, was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Authentieke woonboerderij met een prachtige tuin met verschillende zithoekjes en een hutje voor de latere uurtjes. BBQ, trampoline, hot tub (niet gebruikt) en een kampvuurplaats. Ideaal voor vrienden- en familieweekeinde tegelijk. Zeker niet goedkoop, maar als je het voluit benut met 8 personen dan is het fair. In de wijde omgeving fietsen langs de Maas is een must. Wij maakten een Solex tour vanuit Herpen (boerensolex) op aanraden van Tom. Gouden tip. Verder de Militraks museum bezocht op 35min rijafstand.

Heel prettige communicatie en Margreet was makkelijk bereikbaar, fijne plek, sauna makkelijk in gebruik. Veel (zonnige) zitjes id tuin, fijn huiselijk en schoon huisje, in realiteit voelt het wat ruimer aan. In de buurt mooie wandelingen gemaakt. Je loopt zo het dorp in voor restaurant, supermarkt of vers brood.

Fijn appartement met heerlijke jacuzzi in een afgesloten deel van de tuin. Heel privé en heerlijk voor een weekendje weg uit het drukke dagelijkse leven. Fijne keuken, prima bed en goeie douche. Zelfs een wasmachine (niet gebruikt maar toch).

Prettige ruimte waar je je gemakkelijk thuisvoelt. De keuken is voorzien van de benodigde spullen. De fijne houtkachel maakt het helemaal af!

Great hosts and such a beautiful setting. We loved that there were animals and things for the kids to play with, the treehouse was a huge hit with the kids. The hosts were very friendly and were very laid back with our 3 boys, very friendly dogs the kids loved playing with in one of the grassy areas. The place was pleasantly secluded, we could sit out alone and have a lovely mealtimes overlooking fields with views of the village in the distance.

We had a lovely time on Peter's houseboat. The location is great. Only a 15 minute walk to the station and the center yet incredibly peaceful. Everything we needed was available and we enjoyed the first rays of the spring sun on the dock in front of the houseboat. The daily visit from a group of geese was quite the highlight for our little boy. Peter welcomed us when we first arrived and was very accommodating and responsive to our questions. We explored the corners of Utrecht and beyond with the bike and can only recommend this lovely city. So many beautiful historic buildings, lovely canals and quaint little cafes and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

The place was nice, equipped with loads of kids activities, nice lake, and play area. We really enjoyed our stay. On arrival couple of things were missing, but Karsten responded immediately. I would definitely recommend and would plan for long stay in future.

Everything was very nice and to our surprise the flat was even bigger than it seemed on the fotos. Sharing the flat for 2 nights with 4 adults was no problem. The communcation with Nevin was really easy and pleasant. The flat is rather close to the beautiful city center, which is only a 15-20 min walk away. Parking is a bit tricky, since it is very expensive and there's no free parking basically anywhere in Utrecht, so I would advise to come by train, if possible. All in all we had a very pleasant stay :)

Nice, atmospheric, super clean and inviting. The hosts were very welcoming and super helpfull. We love the fresh strawberries from their garden. We love the heated floors. The area is great for bicycle riding, to enjoy pastures, castles and windmills. Also there is the opportunity for buying fresh cherries, jam and eggs.

Das Haus von Philip liegt in einer super schönen Gegend, von wo aus man schnell ins Zentrum kommt. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe und Kreativität eingerichtet und hat alles, was man braucht. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt.

This was a perfect house to visit Utrecht. Quiet area and a 5 min walk to be in the centre of town. Tons and Peter were lovely hosts. Great communication and they met us to show us round the house. We loved sitting on the balcony and in the little garden. Utrecht was hot but the house remained cool as it’s surrounded by gardens and trees which was a delight.

Super Unterkunft und super Gastgeber . Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß sind haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft war mit dem Boot erreichbar und wir konnten mit dem Boot einkaufen fahren. Es war ein echtes Abenteuer. Der Unterkunft sowie der Pool war sauber. Hat alles gepasst für uns ☀️

Wij hebben met ons gezin een heel mooi en leuk Hemelvaart weekend gehad, lekker relaxed. De kleinkinderen hebben genoten van een grote diversiteit aan speelgoed en buiten de grote en mooie skelterbaan met mooie skelters. Ook mooie wandelingen gemaakt in een prachtige natuur rijke omgeving.

Wir haben 3 Nächte in dem kleinen tiny house verbracht und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Beschreibung ist sehr genau. Es ist super ruhig und perfekt zum erholen. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und hat eine extra große Decke! Wenn man Probleme mit Mücken hat, dann empfiehlt es sich ein Mückenspray einzupacken. Das Haus ist aber zusätzlich mit Anti-Mücken-Steckern ausgestattet, sodass es drinnen kein Problem war.

The house was exactly as described. The location is amazing, and the patio is out of this world. We had a great time!

Excellent séjour à 2 familles. Le jardin avec la vue sur le lac juste magique. Très calme. En pleine nature et malgré tout à proximité des commerces et restaurants. Merci pour le prêt des vélos et du bateau. C’était génial de se déplacer sur l’eau. La région est magnifique et à distance raisonnable de différentes villes à visiter . Floris est un hôte attentionné ( décoration pour Pâques, cadeaux de bienvenue..) et a répondu dans la journée à nos messages. La maison était très spacieuse et très propre. Charme authentique d’une vieille ferme. Merci pour ce vrai break

Steven was absolutely amazing! The boat is lovely and well situated and he went absolutely above and beyond to help us out on our stay - he even brought us out on his tugboat for a test run! Could not recommend enough thank you so much for our stay 😊😊

Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist hohe Qualität und einwandfrei sauber. Ellen war gut zu erreichen und sehr freundlich. Es war ein traumhafter Aufenthalt. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.
