Log cabin with lovely views

Charming log cabin with stunning views both of Rondane and Jotunheimen 20 min from Otta. Here you can enjoy peaceful days with spectacular nature just outside the door. The Ulafosses are 5 minutes walk from the cabin and you hear the rush from the Ulafosses from the porch. The cabin is a perfect starting point for mountain hikes in Rondane National Park, and several of Rondanes 2000 meters peaks. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Water must be carried in and there is an outhouse. The cabin has electricity, and there are car roads throughout the year.

Cottage at Rondane National Park.

Charming cabin all the way near Rondane national park. At the cabin we can tempt with a fireplace and a beautiful view as well as a ping pong table in the basement and a large bolt space out in the woods outside for the little ones. Nice hiking opportunities both summer and winter. Otherwise, the cabin consists of a large bathroom with slate floor, double sink, shower, toilet and washing machine, a spacious kitchen and dining room as well as a living room with sofa and TV. There is also a porch and fire pit. There is a road all the way to the door, even in winter.

The farm produces milk and meat and is located in quiet surroundings with beautiful nature, wildlife and mountains. The river Lågen in the immediate vicinity offers great opportunities for swimming and fly fishing in our zone. Short distance to Dovrefjell and Dombås. You have the staff cage to yourselves. We now offer a breakfast basket with everything you need for a good start to the day. NOK 125 per person. Must be best the day before by 7pm

Family-friendly cottage on Høvringen, by Rondane. The cabin is located in Roavegen, in a warm forest. It's in a quiet and low-traffic area. Great hiking possibilities in both summer and winter. The cabin has electricity, but not water. Ground water in the outdoor faucet on the cabin wall. The cabin has kitchen, living and two bedrooms. The cabin also has a bathroom, with a separate toilet and a loft with low ceiling height which is superb as a playground. The cabin has an annex with wood-fired sauna and bathroom with shower cabinet at your disposal.

Large and magnificent cabin for use in all seasons

Great log cabin over two levels, as centrally located at Høvringen as possible. The cabin is scenic with great views at the edge of Rondane National Park. The area is a great starting point for any kind of nature experience. In summer time, the area offers good hiking and biking possibilities along marked trails. From the area there is access to ten peaks of over 2000 m above sea level. Winter time there are driven trails just outside the property. Here, there are countless opportunities for both large and small.

Welcome to a private and pet-friendly mountain cabin, 980 MASL, just one kilometer from the national park boundary. Here, you are surrounded by powerful landscapes. The cabin does not have running water. Stream water is available before frost. There is no indoor toilet, but there is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding. From the cabin, there are trails and ski tracks leading into the mountains. In winter you must ski or arrange for a snowmobile for the last three kilometers up to the cabin.

Renovated kufjøs from the 1800s. Fjøset is part of a small tuna and is nicely located with a short distance to many national parks. We had a wonderful time staying with our dog in this cozy place in Rondane national park with many beautiful hikes available nearby. The house has all amenities needed, was very comfortable and clean, we felt immediately at home. Communication with Trude was always quick, very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this accommodation to everyone and would gladly come again!

We enjoyed 3 nights at Liv and Fin’s place. Very peaceful and pretty surroundings. Kitchen had everything we needed. Very spacious for 2! There was some confusion around the car charging port. As one isn’t available on the property, but wasn’t an issue when we found where to charge. Thank you for a great stay :)

New family cottage with spirit at Høvringen

We spent 10 very nice days in the spacious, cozy, well-equipped, warm homemade wooden house (with veranda) of Tone and Tore. The house is in a fantastic, quiet place with beautiful views through the large windows on the southwest. Almost from the house we were able to take several cross-country walks and walks. The car can't be at the house in winter, but we really enjoyed doing everything on foot. Also the groceries we transported with a good sled. We were allowed to use different things, including the sled, but also the snowshoes. The kitchen is very well equipped with really good pans, knives and a waffle iron (to name a few). We were met on arrival at the parking lot, 900 meters from the house. Tone and Tore are people to our heart. If we want to go to Hovringen again -it's a beautiful area-, definitely in their home: the one and the only!
