This home sits on a 2 acre lot with plenty of privacy and has an abundance of windows allowing the sunlight shine through and for you to enjoy the beauty of the forest that surrounds you. This is a renovated guest house that was built in 1940. It has great 1940's features, like hardwood floors, high ceilings, and large scale windows. We removed 2 major walls, which opened up kitchen/dining room /living room, to one big space. The guest-house now has an open, bright feel, with a funky, mid-century decor. Our property consists of 3 acres, yet is only one block from downtown Boone. The outside setting is very secluded and natural- with a wooded hillside, creek, and huge yard.
