Lovely place, tastefully decorated and furnished. Welcoming gifts and attention to the little touches added to that ‘looked after’, homely feeling and a sense of being valued as guests.

What a fantastic stay we had at Charley’s place! Immaculate and beautiful, the attention to detail was next level, the pub at the end of the road was fantastic they let us take our dog in the restaurant! Added bonus! thank you so much for a lovely time xx

Enjoyed a long weekend at Hedgehog Cottage and felt truly welcome. Everything clean and as listed! The most accommodating hosts, we ordered dinner from their pub which they delivered to the house (and it tasted amazing!!) Safety wise, everything was up to date and all alarms present and working, which is always reassuring. Kitchen and bathroom spotless and very well kitted it. A fantastic stay! Our only caution, the water can get extremely hot!!

Very well located in the centre of Howden a stone’s throw away from the minster. Had everything we needed for our stay, easy check in & friendly host. Off street parking was available & the host was able to give lots of recommendations for places to eat. If we find ourselves in Howden again we would definitely choose here. Thank you for a lovely stay.
