A cozy cabin over looking the Manistee River on a very safe & peaceful private drive. There are many launch sites for rafting, kayaking and canoeing nearby. The cabin is centrally located between Cadillac, Interlochen, Frankfort & Traverse City. Snowmobile staging area, Caberfae & Crystal Mt. ski areas, Hodenpyle dam backwaters, North Country & Manistee River trails are nearby. Also with a three night stay we will drop you off or pick you up using your canoes or kayaks. Pictures are current.

This quiet TINY (144sq ft) gem, privately tucked away and yet very accessible, Cabin Unwind, has a seasonal porch, queen sized bed, a few 'kitchen appliances' and GREAT wifi. The HOUSE SHARED bathroom has it's own side entrance, across from the Cabin. There is a SUMMER SHARED porta-potty and proper shower, right close by, as well. WINTER GUESTS, please note...DON'T come down the driveway without PROPER WINTER tires! Leave your car at the turnaround and I'll gladly shuttle you and your gear.

It is completely stocked with dishes, cookware, gas grill, beach chairs, towels, wifi, fire pit etc… Tucked away overlooking the pond, it’s a perfect place to relax after a day of activity. An easy 20 minutes to Traverse City where you can go to the beach, shop or enjoy many excellent restaurants. Little Cabin in the woods surrounded by State and Federal land, snowmobile, ATV and bike trails. Quick 30 mins drive to beautiful Lake Michigan. Cabin is heated in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. Kitchen has dishes and a coffee pot for that fresh first cup. The Cabin is rustic and sets in the woods and is visited by nature. The local residents are deer, bear & squirrels. No WiFi(yet), but we have two TVs with local channels. Fire Pit and outside grill.

Both Crystal Mountain and Caberfae Peaks are around 25 miles away. Or just snuggle up inside enjoying a puzzle or a good book on the sofa for a restful getaway. In the evenings, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate around our beautiful fire pit while gazing at the stars enjoying nature. We’d love to host you this winter season!
