We had such a lovely stay at Charlotte’s place - incredible accessibility to Stockholm and all with beautiful natural surrounds and interesting hiking trails for miles. She was super responsive and kindly gave some local recommendations. For anyone who loves nature but is also keen to experience the city, this is a perfectly placed spot. We had a great stay at Patrik's, the neighborhood is very nice, quiet, peaceful and charming. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, and the bus stop is also nearby. Patrik gave us all the necessary instructions for our arrival and to get around during our stay. The cabin is very welcoming and is equipped. We didn't need anything more. This stay was a very good time, a very nice discovery of the city of Stockholm and its inhabitants, the pleasant and peaceful atmosphere and the wonderful landscapes. Thank you Patrik for having us at your place. I highly recommend the Vardmo hut.

It all worked out - home as shown in the pictures. Susanne is very friendly and always responded directly to us if questions came up. Located in a quiet area and you can relax there well. You can get to the surrounding city very quickly. Absolutely recommend! ☺️👍

Katarina is an amazing host who is kind, showed us around, gave us tips and was very helpful at all times. The cottage was magical, exactly as described. We spent the most of the time grilling outside the cottage with the lake view. It was a really relaxing weekend and we definitely recommend Katarina as a host! We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

Very nice and cozy stay if you want to explore Vaxholm area! 😊 The place was clean, had everything we needed and felt very cozy. It was great that we could just walk around the island and when we could borrow the bikes for free to explore Vaxholm 🏝. Linda and her husband are very nice too, gave us lots of local tips and the communication was always very easy and fast. Can only recommend!

Eriks cabin is modern and had all you needed like a fridge, wifi, stove top and oven. The view is the stealer of this small yet open floor plan that even has a three person table. The bathroom is equipped with a stand up rain shower. The deck is large and even though on Eriks house near by, has plenty of privacy. The sunrise and sunset views are gorgeous. The walk from the road to the cabin is about three mins downhill on a dirt road. It is definitely not a place with large bulky suitcases but if you are okay with getting what you need to the space, I say It is a nice brisk walk. I rented the sauna during the evenings and i have to say it is paradise. It is nicely designed with a glass door facing the sea. Everything is programmed by wifi so all you need to show up is your sauna attire! There is also a hiking area from the cabin you can walk for miles and get to high places with views of Stockholm! I definitely will be back.

My dog ​​and I had a great time with Anna and her family. The forest was accessible via the garden but also a good base to visit Stockholm. It was wonderfully quiet. Can only recommend it.

Beautiful little house with whirlpool and great view. There were a few minor things that could be improved, but if no one says anything, the host won't know. So we simply pointed out that the bed could be moved. Then there would be more space, etc... the whirlpool is a treat, but there are other houses and the residents walk past the whirlpool. I thought that was kind of weird. There were always people at the pier, which is shared with other accommodations. Several houses are probably rented and they all meet. That wasn't clear to us before. I would have liked to bathe without spectators. The view is a dream, the hosts are very nice. The nearest supermarket is about 12 kilometers away. All in all, great for a short break.

Our stay at this unforgettable Airbnb on Varholma was truly a dream come true. Nestled in a peaceful and remote location, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life—a true haven for slowing down and reconnecting with nature. The house itself is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with cozy Scandinavian interiors and so much attention to detail. Every corner feels warm, inviting, and filled with love. Whether it’s raining or the sun is shining, this place offers the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. And the sunsets? Simply breathtaking. Sitting outside in the evening, watching the sky turn golden over the water, was an experience we’ll never forget. We can’t recommend this magical spot enough!

I spent two wonderful days in this little cottage. You can explore the surrounding nature and the area is very quiet and relaxing. If you have a car, it is very well connected to Arlanda Airport and you can easily go to Stockholm and Uppsala. Izabella was a fantastic host, always attentive to her guest! I recommend it!

Had a wonderful time and had a lot of luck with the weather. Been out in the garden a lot. Enjoying the hares and deer that occasionally walked through the garden. Cottage was nice and nice and light. Slept wonderfully after using the jacuzzi. Orminge center was a short distance by bus to get groceries which was very convenient. Also kayaked via Kayakomat. Malin responded quickly. Highly recommended!!

Maria's apartment was great, we felt comfortable right away. We could have asked Maria at any time if something was missing, as we were in constant contact. Easily accessible and yet quiet. We would gladly come back.

My family & I spent Easter in Anna's place. The weather allowed us to grill just once and to have a quick easter egg hunt, but we admired the local fauna & flora from the comfort of the cabin. Good restaurant & coffee shop in the area. The place and host were awesome, I'm definitely coming back.

A real little haven of peace! The accommodation is modern, well arranged and perfectly located by the sea with breathtaking views. We loved the tranquility of the surrounding nature. Ideal to unwind. Everything was clean and well thought out, the host is responsive and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Anders and Emma have made a charming and functional small home available for visitors to Stockholm and surrounding areas. The home is conveniently located near bus stops (which can take you to either downtown Tyreso or north up to Stockholm), several grocery stores, and a couple of good restaurants. The neighborhood is also beautifully green and rather quiet and peaceful. The home also has a number of useful amenities and features including a washing machine, small fridge, stove top, large screen tv with set top box, and heated flooring. I had a great stay here for about a month and would not hesitate to return. Thanks, Anders and Emma!

We had a wonderful time at Sanne and Svenne's tiny house. The place is super cozy and with the surroundings perfect for slowing down. We felt very comfortable. We especially liked that for a tiny house the kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. We used the local busses for getting around which is very easy to do, though we would recommend a car if you plan on more outdoor activities. Sanne and Svenne are very accomodating and super nice, thanks for this little trip to winter wonderland :)

Tullinge was a beautiful and peaceful area! The host was helpful and friendly, if something didn't work he fixed it. Communication was straightforward. Perfectly equipped for a longer stay!

Good place with good host

This place is truly wonderful. We stayed here for a few days for our mini moon and it was perfect! We were lucky with the weather so were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the lake, a row in the boat, the sauna and relaxed on the balcony. It was peaceful and clean. We hopped on the bus to Stockholm which was super easy! The bed was extremely comfortable and the snacks in the fridge were a bonus. The place is even better than the photos! Would recommend! Ann was super helpful and responsive. Thank you

The cottage met all expectations; within walking distance of a nature reserve and the perfect location for trips to Stockholm and the archipelago. We had rented a car and parked it (for free) in Gustavsberg for bus 474 to Slussen. From there you can actually walk everything down in Stockholm or take a ferry or other boat to one of the islands, e.g. Fjäderholmarna. We also drove to Stavsnäs, for the boat to Sandhamn. Both islands are a feast for the eyes and an oasis of peace, even in high season. For culture lovers, there are countless museums, such as the National Museum and the Moderna Museet. The cottage is also perfectly located for nature lovers. Directly behind the cottage, you can walk the Ösbyrundan, a 4.5 km path, easy course. Gustavsberg itself is not spectalular, but has nice restaurants and supermarkets. Marie shared all kinds of tips with us and was very helpful. Responded quickly to questions and was very friendly. Unforgettable vacation!
