Holiday rentals with a patio in Humboldt County

This is a great place tucked away in the forest right on the river. Charles is just starting this place up for Airbnb rentals and is putting a lot of thought into making Guest feel comfortable. Seriously a great host. Would probably give you the shirt off of his back. I felt really at home here. Five stars across-the-board is a given.

What a terrific find in the heart of Arcata. So close to the Plaza and great restaurants. Fabulous accommodations!!

We stayed in the apartment just for one night to get rest and continue our trip, it was a lovely place to enjoy for more days, we hope to get back soon

this was a great location to everywhere we wanted to visit. the apartment didn't even feel like a part of the house when there, it was secluded and private. super clean as well.

My stay at this Airbnb was truly a peaceful and refreshing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. Excellent location, such a cute little place - the perfect amount of space for a studio at a very reasonable price. I appreciated Noa’s communication and flexibility - made my trip a lot smoother. Overall, lovely!

Overall nice place! We had a hiccup getting into the house but Alessandra called me very fast and we solved the problem in minutes.

Wow! I can’t believe what a wonderful oasis Katie’s place is! Even more impressive, spacious, and inviting than the photos. The back patio and fire table is a gem, the beds are perfect, and the entire home is spotless. We were greeted and given an intro to the home, and welcomed with homemade scones, great cheese, fruit, cream, and even beverages in the fridge! This place is such a good location and value, and Katie and her husband make it that much better.

We so loved staying here. It was so peaceful, the home was beautiful and clearly a place where there has been a lot of love. Peter was wonderful - very friendly and responsive and he sent us some great local recommendations. Thanks so much for providing such a peaceful environment to relax between day trips. We so loved meeting GoForth, Guin and the puppy. 🥰

Great place to stay outside of Arcata. It was like being in a forest. The furniture and bed were very comfortable.

My son and I stayed at Carrie's place for three nights in late May. We went to explore the Redwood National and State Parks, and McKinleyville fit the bill! We were able to drive daily to our hiking spots, but were also very comfortable both morning and late evening at Carrie's home. Her house is close to Safeway for groceries (we also had pizza nearby) and was so easy to find. Very quiet neighborhood, but near everything one needs when on vacation. In addition, her home was very clean and everything worked well. Highly recommend.

Lovely home — the house was clean and comfortable. Great for one night’s stay in Eureka on our way from Redwoods down to Mendocino. Stocked with the essentials and house was spaciousness for our family of four’s fam trip. It’s located on a main road so you can hear street noise during the day in the front bedroom with the king bed, but the road quiets down in the evening and wasn’t an issue trying to fall asleep (as someone who is relatively sensitive to street noise).

just walk a few feet and your in Eureka's Sequoia Park, zoo and the Sky Walk (you'll need entrance to the zoo to access the SW). Eureka/Arcata have to many things to list but the mother of all Natural Food Stores can be found in Arcata (North Coast Coop), Eureka now has one also. Avenue of The Giants is south on 101, Moonstone Beach, Trinidad and all Patrick's Point (now known as Sue-meg State Park) has to offer. The Woodland Island Marine is a great place to eat fish-n-chips, steak, etc, view the old city, Carson Mansion and local fishermen bring in the haul, some will sell fresh fish to you. OK, we've been here many times and love this area, I know you will too. Glen

1st time in Humboldt. came for a graduation from SoCal. we rented both spaces upper and lower and it was perfect for our family group. We wanted to be away from the city and this place was its own little slice of farmland heaven. the quiet, the starts, the deer on the meadow. We spent a lot of time outside at the fire pit and the home was fully equipped so cooking grass fed rib eyes on his cast iron was the 🍒 on top. only 15 mins away from DT Eureka as well will come back and highly recommend if your looking for a nature filled vacation

My pup and I had a great 3-night stay here. The area is beautiful and peaceful, and this home has all the 5-star amenities in a remote area. There was a heat wave this weekend so unfortunately I didn’t use the hot tub, but it looked really nice. I got an amazing massage from Violet (highly recommend!) to round out a peaceful weekend in the redwoods! I’d gladly stay here again in the future.

We had a great time and felt right at home. There were many amenities that made our stay comfortable. local coffee and a bottle of wine were such a nice touch! would recommend!

Loved our stay at Shelter Cove, the views were unbeatable and it was also a great night for stargazing. We enjoyed the balcony and the jacuzzi in the living room that looked out into the ocean. Everything was incredible comfortable, we would definitely stay here again.

The place was and the view were better than we expected! such a beautiful spot, clean and a easy walk down the trail to the beach. we will 100% be booking again. 100/10! Simy was super helpful giving us tips and suggestions and responded very fast!

Had an amazing night staying at your place, The Exquisite. Check in was easy after getting cell service. My group, of 4, loved having a working, clean hot tub with a view after getting off the LCT after 4 days. 10/10 will recommend and will definitely keep your place in mind when we plan for our next trip at shelter cove.
