Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hungary

I can only recommend Mónika and Gábor's accommodation. Pleasant, cozy atmosphere, fast and fair, friendly administration, communication. Easy access, quiet, peaceful environment. It was an absolutely good choice for us!

Krisztina's place is in the ideal location from which to see all the main attractions in Budapest (especially the "Pest" side of things). It's ultra modern, spacious, very high ceilings, lot's of natural light and has all the amenities one could wish for. There is a bit of hike going up 3 flights of stairs without a lift so it might be a challenge for really young kids or people with physical limitations but the stairs are very wide and the flat is well worth the effort. If we do end up coming back or have friends/family that wish to visit Budapest we will be sure to recommend Krisztina's place. Mike

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet area with lots of things to do. We cycled the path around the lake, swam in Lake Heviz and walked up to the lookout from the house. We ate in a great restaurant recommended by our hosts too. The flat has everything you need - we especially appreciated the washing machine. Hot tub was amazing - we used it every night. Communication was great and we received lots of local tips and suggestions. Would highly recommend. We stayed with children aged 8, 11 and 13.

The villa looked just like the pictures . We were a group of 14 ladies on a wellness retreat and the sleeping arrangements, the kitchen facilities , spa area , outdoor space for exercising were perfect . Our family of 2 adults and 3 children (16,13 and 10) had an absolutely fantastic week in Hungary, and Daniels tiny home was the perfect base. We spent 2 days locally, pottering on the Danube, visiting a local award winning desert parlour that Daniel recommended, lounging in hammocks reading, playing ping pong, cooking and playing board games and watching wildlife on the river. On 2 days we took a mix of Uber / public transport into Budapest, and finally we spent a day in Szentendre, which was well worth it. I'd recommend hiring a car to get the most out of it. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The start of the show is the outdoor space, and the river. Take bug spray, and a few good books ;)

Quiet & peaceful in a beautiful location. Anna was extremely helpful, answering any questions we had during our stay. Her home is very well equipped & we felt at home!

Beautiful apartment, exactly like in the pictures. This apartment is located on the best place, in the central of Budapest. They are very kind and helpful. Very easy communication and if you have a question, they will answer for you very quickly. So it’s simply it’s a perfect choice! Thank you for everything!

David’s place is easy to get to from the airport, express shuttle stops right across the road. Check in is easy - David sent videos ahead which is very clear and straightforward. The place is comfortable,spacious and airy. Beautiful surroundings and so easy to get public transport or walk to anywhere. Lots of lovely eateries around and David has been so kind to send recommendations for things to do, places to visit and great restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend. Would highly recommend staying here. The hosts were very responsive to any queries we had. They were able to arrange transport from the airport which was really helpful. We were then met on arrival and showed round the AirBnB. The apartments were modern, clean and in a perfect location. The only thing to be aware of is that we were put in two different apartments which we weren’t expecting as we were under the impression that all 10 of us would be in the same apartment. However the two rooms were located next door to each other so didn’t cause any problem at all for our group. Overall, would stay here again!

Beautiful little house, hidden in a well-kept garden and surrounded by friendly neighbours. Really good restaurants, bakeries, confectionaries in the town center about 30mins walk away, and house is right at the trails at the edge of the forest. Looking forward to going back again. Perfect place for nature lovers, trail runners, mtbers :)

Amazing apartment in an amazing location. Within walking distance to all attractions. Apartment itself is beautiful and homely, absolutely spotless! Antonia is a wonderful, proactive host and we had such a great stay at her apartment! My partner and I would recommend the place to anyone visiting Budapest :-)

We loved it. Beautiful, clean house. Dora was very kind, she gave us eggs from her own hens. I highly recommend the place and the host.

Lovely, spacious apartment. The beds are comfortable, location is excellent though it can be a little noisy due to the busy road. We were provided with a cot and a high chair for our son which were good quality and sturdy. My only recommendation to the hosts is that the kitchen equipment and the bath towels are upgraded. I think an apartment of this calibre deserves better quality of both.

She was infinitely fair and kind. We were able to discuss and resolve everything.

We stayed for 4 nights in Paul's beautiful accommodation. The garden is really huge and we felt very comfortable in the middle of nature with birds chirping and surrounded by trees and flowers. The pool and the many hammocks are perfect for relaxing and there is plenty for children to discover in the garden. The kitchen is super equipped, everything you need for cooking and grilling is there. Paul is a very dear host, he helped us immediately with all concerns and we felt welcome right away.

We were with a group of friends. The house is very nice, clean and cozy. The view is amazing. The owners are kind, friendly, flexible. I would also like to come back with family:)

We truly enjoyed our stay in Katalin’s Airbnb! The apartment is very spacey with two separate bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. The location is perfect, we were able to walk everywhere. It was very clean, towels were available and we were able to check out later for a small fee. Also, the communication was always quick and to the point. All in all, the apartment even exceeded our expectations!

Our stay at Gabor's house in Siofok was fantastic! Gabor was incredibly welcoming, giving us great recommendations for places to hang out, eat, and find coffee and breakfast. The property was perfect for our 10-person family trip—spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The pool was a highlight, and Gabor kept everything in top condition throughout our stay. The accommodation is extraordinarily interesting. an older castle in the middle of the forest with swimming pool, sauna and many other goodies. Great garden and very good care.
