It is nestled within the stunning Northern Pennines (AONB) UNESCO Global Geopark and sits next to the historic Nenthead Mines site, which was once a major centre for lead and silver mining. Mill Cottage Bunkhouse is on the C2C cycle route, it is also next to Isaac’s Tea Trail and only a drive away from the Lake District, making it an ideal base for cyclists and walkers.

The Barn @ Beck Mill

Situated in the beautiful Eden Valley which lies between the Lake District and the Northern Pennines, we have converted an 17th Century barn into a modern chic, cosy, private one-bedroom apartment perfect for a luxurious getaway to this beautiful corner of the UK. The spacious apartment has a king-sized bed, one bathroom with a walk-in shower and an open plan kitchen and living room. There is WiFi ( but it can be intermittent due to our rural location) TV and DVD player.

The Annexe (on C2C)

A newly built annexe with its own entrance and small garden in the peaceful Cumbrian village of Winskill. Phenomenal views over the Pennines, and Lake District fells. Just by the C2C cycle route with secure bike storage available. Outdoor heated swimming pool a few minutes walk (summer months, but this is closed for the 2021 summer due to covid), plus a fantastic playground even closer to hand. Brand new sofa bed and bunk bed mattresses installed March 2019.
