Joel and Andrea's place is fantastic. I don't think we had fully appreciated in advance what we had signed ourselves up for, but this was a truly special stay. Between waking up to wallabies on the lawn, meeting their dingos, and taking Joel's night walk to see the quolls, potoroos, bettongs and bandicoots, this stay is truly unique. The room is great and was well set up with everything we could want. But this stay is so much more than just a room.

We had such a lovely stay – the place was warm and cosy, perfect for a relaxing family retreat. It’s in a quiet bush setting but still super convenient, just a 10-minute drive to Merewether Beach and Hickson Street Lookout. We loved taking our dogs for walks along Merewether Beach and even found a great dog-friendly café nearby – the perfect spot for an early brekkie and sunrise. The lookout was stunning at sunset, though dogs aren’t allowed there, so we left ours in the car for a short while. The cottage has a big wooden table out on the deck, and we really enjoyed having lunch there, listening to the frogs singing while the dogs explored the garden. Such great value for a pet-friendly getaway. Thanks so much, Stewart!

Great cosy place to stay right on the water! Had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Christine's place. Christine was a great host and very friendly and welcoming. The space was well set up with everything that we needed. Great value for money and we will definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The cottage provided a great base for us to explore Mudgee and surrounds. We were out most of the day and enjoyed returning to the cottage each afternoon and slept comfortably each night. Tony was very friendly and welcoming.

Brooke’s place was perfect for a girls long weekend away. It had everything we needed and was perfectly clean and tidy. Easy code access and very secure property. Brooke was fantastic to communicate with, she was very kind and thoughtful and provided everything we needed. Thank you Brooke!

The studio apartment was very comfortable and our host, Michael, was very friendly. We had no hassles at all. Would recommend.

Loved the uninhibited view across the water/harbour and the domain in front of the property. Lovely and private. We were a bit early but Sandra was so accommodating and pleasant. The bed was super comfortable. We didn't use any of the food she had there for us but we really did appreciate the beautiful gesture - made us feel very much at home. Thank you Sandra! We loved staying there.

Great place to stay overnight after a long drive. Conveniently located just off the highway. Darren’s recommendation to go see the North Haven breakwall was the perfect end to the day.

Had a great stay at Jennifer’s place! Jennifer is a very friendly welcoming host I would love to stay again if in the area. Such a comfortable bed I had the best sleep! The surrounding mountains are beautiful had a very nice coffee while watching the sunrise over the mountains there.

Peter went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even went to town to get my Decaf coffee pods when he realised I didn’t have any, that was great service and appreciated it very much. As for the accommodation it was absolutely comfortable and clean and we loved the surroundings and watching the Kangaroos. We were offered to use the fire pit and he had a bottle of wine on arrival for us. We love to cook and made dinners at the accommodation and having a herb garden that we could use as well came in very handy. My husband and I highly recommend this accommodation and were so glad we chose this Airbnb for our stay.

I was working over at John Hunter for a few weeks, location was very convenient. Janet & Garry were excellent hosts, making sure I had everything I needed for the stay. Going out of their way to make an easy check in for me on a late evening arrival and provision of laundry services during my extended stay made me feel at home. Studio was spacious (separate living area and bedroom) with dedicated desk/ work space and plenty of storage for clothes etc (including walk-in wardrobe) Surrounding area was great for walking and running. No hesitation about booking to stay there again. Thank you!

Michael's place is really great and very well furnished. The surroundings are also superb: a superb riverside walking trail is a 2-minute walk away, and the beach is a 4-minute drive away. It was a great stay!

Great stop over in a little aussie town. Heritage home, cozy and the electric blanket was a delight as i came from a warm gold coast winter into a south colder winter, so i was fully delighted to know it was warm. And i love the bright bathroom with big bath and sky window. The kitchen has some ready items i see can be handy for traveler’s who are meal unplanned 😆 The bookshelf is packed! I love that too. Bed soooo comfortable…. I worked on my laptop and could stay there all day! Thank u for my stop over was lovely.

This is my favourite place to stay when I am in Newcastle. I have stayed several times and it is always clean, comfortable, quiet and private. Nerida and Richard are perfect hosts, friendly, helpful, always respond quickly to messages but also allow guests their privacy. Thanks again for another great stay, I hope to be back again soon.

Is this the best Airbnb in Australia? Quite possibly - Pam and Kevin are excellent hosts, the apartment is clean, comfortable and private with plenty of space, and perfectly located for the beach, and a short taxi ride from all of town. Plus the posh-restaurant-quality homemade breakfasts are worth staying for all on their own!

We had a lovely stay. The studio is very comfortable, clean, private and has everything you need. It was also reassuring to know our dog was safe in the yard so we could relax in the heavenly spa. Several unexpected extras gave our visit a special touch. Highly recommended.

Had a thoroughly wonderful stay. The apartment was perfectly appointed and spotlessly clean and tidy. The location is amazing. What a view! Have stayed in the same complex previously, but this apartment is much better appointed than the other rooms we have stayed in at this site. The communication from the hosts was first rate also.

Christie’s place was better than the photos. It was soooo comfy and so well stocked. Organic eggs, love bread butter and juice for breakfast. Tv set up so good 😊 warm cosy extra blankets and extra everything. It felt like you were guests not AirbandB. Cute chooks visiting us daily. Great garden 🪴 all up excellent.
