Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Huon Valley Council

Had a lovely stay, what I appreciate the most was how child friendly the house was. Variety of toys, games and children books available from the Airbnb. Clean, cosy and well furnished. Highly recommend.

The accommodation has everything you could want. Fully stocked kitchen, pantry and fridge. Books, games, everything for a relaxing stay. The peaceful bush setting and the fabulous views are fantastic and not overstated. We are repeat guests and given the opportunity will definitely be back.

Nichola's place is clean and beautiful and has everything you need - really, everything plus extras. Nice little touches too such as some complimentary breakfast items, chocolates and biscuits. It also has a beautiful view that I really loved waking up to. We are afraid of the cold so was really happy that this place has sufficient heating. One thing to note - be prepared with groceries. The cafe/restaurants around here (already limited) has very limited operating days and hours. Many open Thurs to Sun and operates during meal times only.

We enjoyed the house and area for an extended family trip. Lots of room and activities at the house. Kids loved the painting spot, and the short walk to fish off the jetty. Some nice foreshore walks, with a well formed track to Verona Sands. Thanks

We were lucky enough that there was a last minute booking available, my partner and I were camping and in desperate need of a refresh. The cottage was the perfect place to reset while also still feeling as if we were out in the open as we were surrounded by breathtaking scenery and the most adorable animals. We felt very welcomed as Michelle showed us around the home and gave fantastic recommendations for food and activities in the area when we checked in, and she gave us plenty of privacy for our stay. The cottage is stocked with plenty of furnishings and accessories to make it feel like a home away from home, and the fresh milk left for us in the fridge was delicious. Thank you so much for the most relaxing stay and we will definitely book again when we come back to Tassie 😊

Perect place to relax and unwind, whilst staring out the window looking at the amazing view of the bay. Tricias place was furnished and stocked well it made you feel at home. It was wonderdul to just walk in sit down in the warm as Tricia had the fireplace already going for us with no shortage of wood to keep it going. Some fun was had fishing directly out the front of the home. Geeveston township is only 5 minutes away to get any essentials you need. We had a great morning out exploring Hartz Mountain National Park which was only approximately 20km down the road. We look forward to staying at Tricias place again.

We absolutely loved it here! Natalie was extremely friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any queries. The stay itself was beautiful! The gardens/grounds and views out over the river were marvellous!! Would highly recommend staying here!

Such a wonderful stay!!! The view is spectacular and the place has such a nice feel to it! Franklin is a beautiful town and staying here perfectly captures everything that it is!

We had a fantastic stay in Dover. Tina's cottage was clean and spacious with fantastic views. The property is ideally located for day trips to Hastings Caves and Tahune skywalk. An added bonus is the short walk to the local RSL for great food and water views.

The most stunning incredible stay. Ben’s place was just as beautiful as the photos! We loved the open space and the great read of all the economical features the place presented. It was quiet, peaceful and just what we needed. The breakfast was a lovely touch and we made the most of the extra provisions for purchase. We will definitely recommend to others and be back again ourselves 🤩

I gasped aloud as the front door opened revealing the beauty beyond. The cosy front foyer with its dramatic staircase enticing me further into this enchanted world. I climbed the stairs edging closer to the stunning sliding glass doors wondering what more would be revealed …. The Bowmont delivered! Stunning vignettes wherever my gaze landed. Curated. Warm. Elegant. Cosy. Beautiful. The space begged me to sink into its gorgeous peace and rest… “Come, relax”, the rooms whispered. The most magical space from which to explore the land-beyond-Hobart. I will come back again one day … (And if you are reading my review … you should come, too).

Paul and Henrietta were very welcoming and generous with their time, showing us through the gallery and a hug ari g hiking tips. We loved every second of our stay and appreciated the plentiful breakfast supplies and cozy room. The view is perfect . We had a lovely stay and would love to come back!!
