The Old Vicarage Annex, Earl Sterndale

PeterRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at Jonathan’s place was wonderful, it was such a lovely setting with walks from the door. The annex was very private, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. It was a foul day when we arrived and Jonathan had been very thoughtful and put the mixed-fuel burner on and everywhere was toasty when we arrived! We tried to keep it going the following day but failed and Jonathan came to our rescue!

The Old Chapel Luxury Retreat

ShirleyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Just beautiful. A tastefully renovated chapel with elegant furnishings and heaps of character. The well-equiped kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and we had lots of fun with the board games and cards provided. Ashford is a picturesque village with great dining and drinking options. A perfect spot for our family reunion.

Walker's Rest Cottage at Wheeldon Trees

NatalieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Truly loved our peaceful and beautiful stay! The location is wonderful! Clear instructions and friendly hosts! The property is far enough away from everything but close enough to town! Animals surrounding the property and even has a small hike up a hill with a beautiful view just right outside the property. Highly recommend if you want a quiet getaway!

Rustic and secluded glamping pod with hot tub

KerryRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We just spent the weekend here in the glamping lodges the Space inside was just person, the farm it self is very large and little walk to the village the only down fall was we was in lodge two and there no gate to the back so when people are walking pass they see you in the hot tube so there no privacy.. that was my only downfall what made the trip not that great but apart from that it was a good weekend

Monsal View Cottage

AngelaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The photos are stunning, but the view irl is breathtaking. Also, there are hikes within feet of the entrance to the place. We were there in early summer, so there were TWO ice cream stands and a pub with delicious food and drinks within 20 yards of our private outdoor table area (visitors were so jealous!). The flat was exquisitely clean and welcoming. Just magical—-right down to the “witches welcome, muggles tolerated” door mat! Amazing host; amazing stay!

Idyllic cottage retreat

OlgaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We enjoyed our stay at Steppes Cottage very much. It is a beautiful cottage set in lovely surroundings, wonderfully peaceful and clearly put together with great love and attention. The bed was very comfortable with luxury bedding. The shower was excellent, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, all of very good quality and with thoughtful touches throughout. The front garden is amazing, filled with beautiful plants. Communication with Jaz was very nice and easy. It was a lovely surprise to find fresh bread, butter, wine and chocolates on our arrival, which was much appreciated. We also loved having a charming pub just a two minute walk away. It is a truly beautiful part of England. We would definitely recommend Steppes Cottage and will certainly return.

The Shippon at Manor House Farm

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second time staying at this beautiful Airbnb and it was just as fantastic as the first time. The quality of the accommodation is outstanding — everything is finished to a very high standard, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable. You can really tell the host has put care and attention into every detail. During our stay, we visited The Ashford Arms pub in Ashford in the Water, (about 10 mins away) which we thoroughly enjoyed. It's a lovely spot with a great atmosphere, delicious food — highly recommend. As for the Airbnb itself, it was peaceful, welcoming, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is ideal — perfectly situated for exploring the Peak District while offering a quiet retreat to come back to at the end of the day. The host was excellent & quick to respond. We really appreciate our forgotten laptop being posted on to us the next day! Thanks again - already looking forward to our next visit!
