The Cottage

The Cottage is a stunning ranch-style home-from-home set in the hills of Loburn, with incredible panoramic views looking across the Canterbury plains to the left and the Southern Alps to the right. Surrounded by beautiful paddocks, you have the tranquillity of the countryside yet just a 10 minute drive from the town of Rangiora, which offers visitors a host of eateries, bars and shops. You’ll enjoy the privacy of The Cottage entirely to yourself. Log burner/wood available at additional cost

Wake with the dawn chorus, the roar of surf and breathtaking sunrise views over the wild Pacific Ocean. Nestled amongst mature native and exotic trees, with elevated sea views, our bespoke cabin is the ideal place to embrace stillness and immerse yourself in quiet luxury. Sip a coffee, think yoga and simply unwind on one of three outdoor decks. Luxuriate with a wine or bbq under the stars beside the cosy outdoor fireplace. ChCh is 90mins but we prefer our 2 wild beaches, a short stroll away.

Shearers Quarters on farm, Motunau Beach Rd

On a farm but just a few mins off SH1 and from the beach. Simple yet cosy & comfortable and loved by our family. Ideal for time out, wedding accommodation or a stop over. Handy to local wedding venue 4km away. We can do a drop-off to weddings. Just $100 for 1 person, thereafter each person is $45 pp and children $40 (we adjust for you once booked). Prices are intentionally kept low so anyone can come here. No wifi in this building, however, there is from our house and near the building.

Designers Home on the Forest Edge - Entire house

Your home away from home, an architectural, modern, light, warm home that comfortably sleeps either 2 families or adult friends staying together. There's 2 double bedrooms & 2 bunk rooms that are quite small sleeping 4. 2 living spaces with luxurious wool carpet, one with a fire, other with the TV, that you can close off to the rest of the house. Open plan living/kitchen/dining makes for easy flow and creates space. Plus an incredible outside space.

Aunt Jessie's Cottage

Welcome to our tranquil oasis in the centre of Amberley. As you come through the gate you will feel transported into a completely different world, surrounded by beautiful natives and blooming cherry trees (in season). This character filled cottage was originally built in 1903, it's full of charm with many modern additions. The garden is very private, so much so that you can unwind and relax in the outdoor bath under the stars and no one will know.
