Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Husum

We were with two adults and three children for a short trip to Cuxhaven and had an all-round beautiful time in the cozy cottage. We were even allowed to check in a little earlier and the communication was super friendly and uncomplicated at all times. Everything was fine for us. Here's how to make Airbnb fun! ;-)

The most beautiful & romantic accommodation we have ever been allowed to stay in! :) The small half-timbered house is very idyllically located in the middle of nature. We enjoyed watching the chickens at breakfast and even had the good fortune to spot a deer :) The kitchen is functionally equipped with the most important things, so you can prepare simple meals. And there are employment opportunities for rainy days. For those with a lighter sleep, I recommend bringing a sleep mask & earplugs, especially in the summer months, as the birds & rooster wake up early & there are no blackout options. The owners are very friendly, dedicated and helpful. Thank you for the wonderful days. We will be happy to come back again!

The cottage is cozy, bright rooms, beautiful decor, there are lots of tips in guest folder & flyers. Old town, harbor and castle park are in walking distance. Due to the beautiful atmosphere of the accommodation, especially the perennials and roses at the covered outdoor seating area, rainy hours were also pleasant to spend. A teapot would have made our luck perfect, but the beautiful big mugs were also in good hands. Happy to come back!

A really cute "feel-good" cottage with character...comfortable, bright, super cozy, friendly, clean, tasteful, with a beautiful garden and a great sun terrace. The small, fine bathroom with shower is located on the 1st floor as well as the two bright, cozy bedrooms. The quiet bedroom facing the garden has a large double bed, but the double bed in the bedroom facing the somewhat louder street is a bit narrower. Parking on the street was no problem and Husum City incl. The port is easily accessible on foot. For the four of us, the cottage was perfect, we can only highly recommend it. Annkristin greeted us very warmly and we immediately felt comfortable and at home. The location of the house is awesome!!! We enjoyed the winter garden with the fantastic view of the sea VERY MUCH! Beautiful. It is unparalleled. The house was equipped with everything, we lacked absolutely nothing!!! Also, the house was very, very clean and tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable. We had our mother (82) with us, who had her own bedroom downstairs, with her own shower room. Perfect. We had our own area upstairs and also a fantastic view from there. The house is very quiet, surrounded by a huge natural estate and horse paddocks. We were able to observe a number of animals on the pastures there... horses, hares, deer, birds, storks and herons. We had a wonderful time in Annkristin's house and would come back anytime. Thanks for your hospitality.

Beautiful accommodation, modern and Nordic furnishings. Quietly located near the supermarket but also quickly at the sea or in the village. Nicole was very proactive in taking care of everything that was important to us. Since we had fabulous weather, we could enjoy the fantastic garden and sit in the beach chair for a long time in the evening. Our days were too short to make the most of everything... Thank you for letting us into the house earlier, we were very grateful for that. Very quiet, only the cuckoo woke us up early 😀

Very nice apartment, very tastefully decorated, very clean and quiet location. Perfect mattresses, safe and comfortable parking, pleasant neighborhood, ideally located to explore the northernmost part of Germany. We would be happy to come back and would absolutely recommend the apartment.

The apartment is a very good starting point for the surrounding villages such as St. Peter-Ording or Büsum. It was very clean and well appointed. The contact with the hosts was extremely friendly and uncomplicated. We will be happy to come back.

Everything worked out great, beautiful apartment in the center of Husum (old town). The host informed us extremely pleasant and uncomplicatedly, or supported us! Husum is definitely worth a trip and is ideal as a starting point for the North Sea and the Halligen. We will be happy to come back! ☀️😊

We were at Carolin's for four days on our return trip from Sweden. We liked it very much and would have liked to have stayed longer. The towns of Friedrichstadt, Tönning and Husum are worth a visit.

Super nice apartment in a perfect location, we spent an extended weekend with the family and were able to explore Sonderburg well on foot. The host communicated very pleasantly and friendly and gave us a nice welcome gift!

There were four of us + toddler in Stephan's accommodation and we felt very comfortable from the first moment. The apartment is beautiful and quiet, absolutely sparkling clean and incredibly well equipped. This is where you can only feel comfortable!

We really liked Pamela and Jacob's modern accommodation. Great, tasteful and stylish apartment in which you feel right at home. The apartment is within walking distance directly parallel to a very nice shopping street with a lot of gastronomic selection and another 5 minutes further you are also directly on foot at the port of Flensburg. We had a great, sunny day and will definitely ask Pamela and Jacob again if we are in the area. Thanks again for everything.

A cozy apartment in a quiet location. There was everything you needed. There was plenty of shopping nearby. The hostess Christel was very friendly and gave us good tips. Great was the village inn diagonally opposite. Food delicious, small prices, good service. We will be happy to come back to Christel and Andreas,
