Villa holiday rentals in Hydra

We spent a memorable week in the Villa Athena. The place, both indoor and outdoor, is very spatious and clean. The terrace and the swimming pools were actually much better that what we could expected from the current pictures on the app. This was a really good surprise. The location is a bit remote and the access not so easy (you need a car) but it totally worths it. You'll enjoy the amazing view without disturbance from the neighbors. From the villa, you can also easily access to small and non-tourist beaches by walking 5 to 10mins. Minors inconvenients: - no drinkable water from tap - check in and check out timing did not occurred as expected

Beautiful spacious house, nicely decorated, amazing views especially from the very large veranda that we very much enjoyed over dinner, host was very helpful and responsive. Lively town full of restaurants and bars about 10 min drive away. Local beaches lovely too. Overall we had a great week-long stay.

We loved the house, the sea and the view from the first moment we came in. We enjoyed the lovely welcome from Eirine´s parents even though they do not speak english. The house is big and has enough room even for 6persons (we were just 4) and has everything you might need. The view from terace is breathtaking and the sea is beautiful and clear all the day. What a dream to start the day with a morning swim... We loved the secluded position and serenity and calm every day. The only thing to note - you need a car as there is nothing within walking distance and for restaurants, shopping, sightseeing etc. you have to drive 20-30minutes. Not an disatvantage though, as you have the serenity instead. A place to remember and to return sometimes! Thank you Eirine and your parents.

This stay in Aegina was one of our best travel lodging experiences ever. Anna Maria was incredibly welcoming, helpful and generous, and made us feel at home. The house is spotless, well furnished and full of beautiful and interesting pieces of art made by the host family. It felt luxurious and we looked forward to coming back to relax each night with a view of the Saronic gulf on the patio. The home is a very unique and highly recommended option for a vacation on Aegina. We hope to return some day.

επισκεφτήκαμε οικογενειακός τη βίλα Veta και το μόνο που μπορώ να πω είναι ότι έχω τις καλύτερες εντυπώσεις.... το σπίτι πάρα πολύ ωραίο.... η θέα από το μπαλκόνι εκπληκτική.... αλλά κυρίως η επικοινωνία με τους οικοδεσπότες και ειδικά με τον κύριο Δημήτρη που άφησε τις καλύτερες εντυπώσεις. Με την πρώτη ευκαιρία θα επισκεφτώ ξανά το μέρος και το προτείνω αν επιφύλακτα

The Mendrinos family is so lovely, kind, and welcoming. They were available for us with any questions or advice. The house is amazing, well well-equipped with everything we needed for us and the kids. The swimming pool is big and the view of the sea is stunning at every hour of the day. Marina is so nice, she surprised us in the first morning of our stay with her homemade yummy pastries. When my spouse shared with her discreetly that I had a birthday, a few hours later she came with birthday cake, balloons and greeting card. The hosts gave us the privacy and at the same time made us feel safe that they are available to assist with everything we need. We are already looking forward to coming back. Το οίκημα είναι μια πολύ καλόγουστη βίλα, πλήρως εξοπλισμένη, σε κήπο με δένδρα και με καταπληκτική θέα στην θάλασσα. Η οικοδέσποινα, εξαιρετικά φιλόξενη, είχε φροντίσει να υπάρχουν τα είδη πρώτης ανάγκης, πράγμα που μας έκανε να αισθανθούμε σαν στο σπίτι μας από την πρώτη στιγμή. Το σπίτι βρίσκεται σε ύψωμα σε απόσταση 500μ από την παραλία σε μια ήσυχη γειτονιά από μονοκατοικίες. Η θάλασσα είναι συμπαθητική με μικρό beach bar, που δεν χρέωνε ξαπλώστρες. Για ψώνια και φαγητό η πιο κοντινή επιλογή είναι η Ερμιόνη. Περάσαμε πολύ όμορφα, μείναμε ικανοποιημένοι από τον κλιματισμό και το wifi, χαλαρώσαμε σ΄ένα περιβάλλον εξαιρετικά προσεγμένο μέχρι την τελευταία του λεπτομέρεια.

Belle maison, spacieuse,fonctionnelle , d’une propriété remarquable. Très bien située pour admirer la mer le matin en prenant le café et le soir le soleil, au couché: magnifique ! Très bien située aussi pour les déplacements dans le Péloponnèse, à quelques minutes des plages calmes et des restaurants, tavernes et magasins. A Agios Aimilianos vous êtes au milieu de ce qui est le plus beau en Grèce: la mer, les oliviers, les orangers.... Notre hôte, Apostolos :quelqu’un de très discret, attentionné, qui répond rapidement aux messages.

An amazing villa with beautiful views! The villa was very clean and included just about everything that we needed during our two-week vacation. You can tell that John put a lot of thought into outfitting the villa to meet the needs of his guests. Location was great but you definitely need a car. plenty of great and interesting things to do in the area such as visits to nearby islands, renting boats and exploring the coastline yourself, renting 4x4s or motor scooters and exploring Greek antiquities. Pool was well maintained and we used it every day. Outdoor living areas were terrific and I think I already mentioned the simply amazing views.

Το λατρεψαμε, ειχε ολα οσα χρειαζομασταν κι ακομα περισσότερα!! Καθαρο, περιποιημενο και φιλόξενο!! Θα ξαναρθουμε σιγουρα!

A truly excellent holiday home: well designed and impeccably maintained with beautiful gardens and outdoor areas. Highly recommended! Also Danai and Mosxoula are very helpful and kind. We'd love to come back 😄

Captain’s Lodge is the uptime Hydra Airbnb. The historic home has been beautiful restored with great care and consideration for guests’ needs. Anna has thought of every conceivable detail in terms of the design, landscaping, lighting, convenience and hospitality. It was hotel standard - truly above and beyond any Airbnb we have ever experienced. We loved walking to all of the beaches, Upper Kamini and beyond.. but most of all we loved returning to the much loved Mishu and our ‘Hydra home’. We honestly never wanted to leave. Don’t even consider booking elsewhere on the island. This is the place.

Simply spectacular! Tranquil, beautiful with a superb view, this home has it all. Every detail in this master crafted home is perfect. Set high on a hill with a downstairs terrace and a balcony off the upstairs bedroom, the vista is magnificent. This spotless home is welcoming, with a beautiful large bedroom & bathroom. The garden creates a wonderful surrounding feature. Just minutes walk to the Castello beach club with great swimming, and the quaint Kimini working harbour and local tavernas. Dino is a fantastic host and we highly recommend his beautiful home. Can’t wait to return!!

Athanasia was the most thoughtful host we have ever had! From meeting us at the port and arranging for our baggage to to be taken up by mule to having a fully stocked fridge, including ample water and supplies! She clearly cared very much that we had the best time and sent many recommendations and was always at the end of the phone if needed. The house is beautiful and traditional to the island with large terraces with amazing views. Anyone who has been to Hydra will know that the best places require a bit of a hike and this is no exception, we traveled with our 3 year old and it probably was as the limit of our comfort level with regards to getting her up and down and keeping an eye on her when outside as the terraces have unprotected edges- which is standard on the island. Worth keeping in mind if you have small children. Those with children who are a little more adventurous will get the payoff of staying at this truly beautiful and peaceful house and island!

this is a great house. Views are spectacular, big and spacious, great beach area, quiet, private, this place has everything you need. The property manager was wonderful, nice to have a washing machine, and a 10 minute drive to lots of restaurants. they even have a refrigerator full of wine from a local winery available with reasonable prices.

Great house with a big pool. A few minutes walk to a beautiful little beach. Porto Heli only 10 mins in the car. We really enjoyed our stay.

Kelly’s villa is absolutely lovely, the views are to die for. We spent many a happy hour in the lovely pool. It has all the facilities you need in the villa to dine in but it’s also very close to Perdika where there are lovely restaurants. It’s only 10mins away from Aegina town and more lovely restaurants. It’s easy to reach from the ferry so easy it visit other islands too. Highly recommended for perhaps families with older children - as the steps are steep but definitely did us good after drinking and eating lots of lovely food and drink.

This lovely villa has one of the most outstanding vistas of anywhere we have stayed. We were met by Ann, with a wonderful welcome spread of delicious nibbles and drinks. The views from the balcony or the infinity pool are just stunning. From watching the sun come up in the east, to glorious sunsets in the west, and a night sky absolutely sparkling with stars. The amenities in the villa are superb and the BBQ area is really well set up. We highly recommend eating at Fotinis Restaurant nearby and chartering a boat with Nakas Rental. Poros itself is lovely, as is Ermione and Methana. A wonderful place to spend a holiday.

Het huis van Isabelle in Galatas is een echte aanrader voor families die op zoek zijn naar een ontspannen vakantie. Het uitzicht is adembenemend, de omgeving rustig en de lokale keuken is heerlijk. We hebben genoten van de buitenruimte met zwembad, ruime woonkamer en het feit dat iedereen een eigen kamer met badkamer had. Isabelle was een uitstekende gastvrouw die ons van alle nodige informatie heeft voorzien. Het nabijgelegen eiland Poros is een leuke bestemming voor een dagtrip als je zin hebt in wat meer levendigheid. Al met al een topvakantie!
