Raton's House is a welcoming and tranquil space at the southern end of Aldeia de João Pires, on the route of the Historic Villages of Portugal. With a 5,000 m2 olive grove around it, walled, it is the synthesis of village and countryside. Children can play there without the risk of running onto the road. The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms and an ivy-covered shed. It has 3 air-conditioners and sleeps up to 4 people. The Village has a restaurant and a children's playground.

This is an exclusive and luxurious ancient stone house/cave (maximum of 2 people), this cave according to some opinions was already inhabited since prehistoric times when there were in Europe elephants (mammoths), bison, rhinos, lions, etc.. Decorated with original furniture from the 17th and 18th centuries, inserted in the "most Portuguese" and only village in Portugal, Monsanto.
