Pretty comfortable, well equipped, clean and spacious apt. Enjoyed the natural light and surrandings --Rock Creek Park. Easy access and clear instructions were very helpfull. Thank you so such for such an easy, pleasant and friendly stay!

This was a great place to stay for my family of three during our brief visit. I was especially pleased at how easy check-in and check-out was. The host is very responsive. I would recommend this place.

So, I actually purchased this as a gift for a love niece of mine and her husband. I live in Tennessee, so I will say that the communication with Janine made me feel comfortable to put my total faith that things would go smoothly. Apparently, they did: Per my niece: "My husband and I stayed at the Happy Tree House for our babymoon. The space was very clean and tidy. The backyard was my favorite part! As well as the comfortable bed. Janine took great care of us and was very proactive. Definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the Alexandria area."

This is our second time staying with Wanda and it was even better than the first time. The kitchen is well stocked with whatever you need if you like to cook your own food. But if that’s not your thing there are a bunch of fantastic restaurants to choose from within walking distance (the hosts have fantastic recommendations!) The bathroom had more than enough towels and toiletries for the three of us and was well stocked with everything you could need. It’s within walking distance of the university as well as the metro if you want to do some touristy stuff as well (which we did on our last day). The hosts are super responsive and kind and quick to update if anything is wrong. If you’re super comfy girlies like we are, there are plenty of blankets to go around while enjoying the super quaint living room. It’s one of the best airbnbs we have stayed at and has set the bar for every subsequent Airbnb we have stayed in. we will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in DC!

Anne is very thorough when checking on a guest. She wants people to feel comfortable and makes sure they understand how to operate the appliances in the home. She has a garden and doesn't mind sharing the fresh herbs and berries in them. Initially, I was bummed about the strict check-out time (out by 8:00 am), but due to a delay in the cleaning service's ability to arrive to clean the place, I was able to check out at 11:00 am. She was responsive to questions or concerns I had. Her home is immaculate! She explained the cleaning/sterilization process, so this is a great place to stay for people who suffer from allergies. The neighborhood is quiet, and you are within walking distance of a few restaurants, a grocery store, and some shops.

Lovely place to stay. Close to downtown Alexandria and the wharf. We spent one whole day down there. Also easy to take a few day trips to Washington DC. I would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay! Diana was incredibly kind and helpful. The entire place was clean and very functional. We’ll definitely be back the next time we visit Virginia!

The walk-out basement unit was clean, spacious and suited our needs perfectly for the week stay. One issue was that being a large basement unit with no heating control it was rather cold in mid-April. However, we did find a space heater in the laundry area to warm up the bedroom so we managed. Overall a good ABNB experience and would certainly book again if visiting the area.

Ashok was friendly and easy to get in touch with. He gave me all the details for check in a couple days in advance so I wasn’t stressed at the last minute. The space was great and near the Metro station so it was easy to get into DC or surrounding areas. Also there is street parking if you have a car. The house was equipped with everything we needed and lots of good sitting areas. The kitchen is a bit tight for making big meals but great for all your basic needs. The outdoor space was great for having morning coffee and enjoying the weather. The sound does travel inside similar to an apartment with upstairs neighbors but his friendly communication made it comfortable to discuss anything if it came up.

TODD’S is KING! We have been searching for our new home & have stayed in 2 of their buildings. TODDs’ customer service has been fast, reliable & friendly! TODD’s has made us feel relaxed & welcomed during our visits. Our cat feels at home here, too! He has been anxious in other Abnbs, so it’s a great benefit. Their units are clean & stocked with essentials — like bathroom, laundry & kitchen supplies. The bed is super comfy as is the living room couch. The TV is large & U can stream your favorite channels. They even supply a safe — for your valuables — and an ironing board & iron for that quick press! A big closet, too! We have very much appreciated TODD’S staff for many reasons. They WANT to help & they WANT their guests happy. They went out of their way to help us elongate our stay, when we realized we needed more time! They kindly juggled other reservations to ensure we could stay longer. Such a pleasant surprise & experience! We recommend TODD’s highly!

I loved the area, calm neighborhood, the inside is big enough to host up to 9 people. She respond very quick, I have good time, I would recommend it to friends.

We loved staying at Hidden Gardens. It was very clean and Noris made it extra special with all her personal touches to make us feel very special. The garden out back is very relaxing and just beautiful. We loved sitting out there and enjoying all the beautiful flowers and greenery. Noris is an excellent host and amazing person. She made us feel special and we felt right at home. I can’t wait to go back. Noris is a “super-host”.

We stayed one month at Saber's place. The place had all the basic things we needed. The location was great for using the metro and buses to DC. We walked to Georgetown and National Mall. There were plenty of good restaurants around and Safeway and Target nearby. We were two females, but felt safe walking around the area and even at night. Saber was proactive in communicating and responded quickly to questions.

Place was just as described and worked out great for a place to stay down the street from the Gaylord.

We had no idea this was a resort with a sales pitch. Be ready. Not hard for us to say no and they were not persistent but we that this was an apartment in a building. This is a Wyndham Resort. Lovely amenities, parking $25/day right across the street, no restaurant on site but lots of choices close. It was perfect for our purposes.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely recommend to others! Great place! Better than the pictures!

This was such a great location only a few blocks from Virginia Square or Ballston metro (in either direction). It was nice to have a peaceful place to stay once we were done exploring DC. We felt VERY safe in the neighborhood- the apartments had a concierge at the desk 24/7, key fob for accessing the parking garage, and the neighbors were quiet. It was easy to walk to several local restaurants or just hop on the metro to explore Alexandria or even Clarendon area for shopping. The parking garage did have very narrow spaces for parking- not anything the host can control- so just try to find a space you can get in and out easily. The pool was also very nice and will be even nicer as it warms up for summer guests. They even had a lifeguard present and a grill/patio area. The host was super quick to communicate and the apartment felt like home for the week we were able to spend there. I felt very grateful to find these clean, nice and affordable accommodations outside of DC for our family.
