Entire 2nd floor/Comfortable and quiet traditional house, "Guesthouse Kokuminmachi Kayanoki"

ThomasRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A huge thank you for the welcome! We felt welcomed as family. The place is beautiful and the breakfast was amazing with fresh homemade 🍞 bread. Our only regret is that we didn't plan time to spend with our hosts who have a lot to tell. They are people with a beautiful and rich history. Thanks!

Kamesei Ryokan, quiet onsen inn, private standard

JoachimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our time at Kamesei Ryokan! Tyler and his wife were really friendly and the check-in process went really smooth. The location had so much to offer and the onsen itself is a 5-star rating! When in the area again, we won’t doubt to stay here once more!

The check-in instructions were very polite, and I was grateful for the quick response. The inn was a very relaxing space surrounded by carefully selected furniture. The air I breathed in the morning in the veranda garden was very pleasant. It was an inn that I would definitely like to stay at again!

The house as well as the experience was amazing, it is much more beautiful than the photos. It’s one of the most beautiful renovated Japanese homes I’ve been in. The hosts are really friendly and helpful to give us recommendations which made our trip so enjoyable. If I travel to Gifu again I’d definitely stay again!

Tanekura Inn. 1 group relaxing stay with breakfast

SatoshiRating, 5 stars1 day ago
In a very unique place called Taneura, where the landscape of rice terraces and Itakura spreads, I was able to relax in nature and stay in a very relaxed mood. Before the visit, I went to a facility called "Hida Forest Blessing" in Furukawa, but it seems that Hida City is focusing on medicinal herbs, and at this inn, I was able to pick medicinal herbs while listening to various stories from Shinji, the host, and take a medicinal herb bath.I also made soba noodles, and in the evening, I was able to enjoy them with medicinal herb tempura by the irori. While many of the guests are foreign tourists, it is also a great place for Japanese people who want to relax.I think there were times when it was difficult due to the coronavirus, but I hope that the current environment and services will continue in the future.
