This place was amazing - modern amenities in a historical home. Everything was clean, crisp and cozy! There was a beautiful forest walking trail just minutes from the house which led to a waterfall which was a great way to start the day. Quick ride in to Old Quebec for tours and shopping!

Carole is an incredibly nice person and a wonderful host. We felt at home straight away and this has been one of the most beautiful a cozy houses we've ever stayed in. The nature and view is breathtaking. Great location for number of activities, absolutely private and yet not too far to Quebec. The jacuzzi was amazing, especially during the colder evenings. We loved every minute of the stay. It's absolutely worth the money. Don't hesitate a minute. It's really a little hidden paradise, you will want to stay back at the place and just relax and opportunities for hiking, etc. are numerous. We enjoyed the recommended places in the neighborhood and the rafting on the river was a real highlight. Thanks to Carole we had everything we needed and more. 😊👌

We loved our stay at this airbnb! The photos are very representative of what we paid for and the airbnb was very clean when we arrived. In addition, the location is perfect for people who love the outdoors as much with the Charlevoix massif and the park of large gardens nearby or also for people who want to visit Saint Paul Bay! The airbnb host also accepted a last-minute change which helped me a lot! I recommend it!

We loved the place, everything was as described. Communication with Chantal was very easy. There were more accessories in the cottage than we expected, like board games on the other. The children are already asking when we'll go back! We will recommend it to those around us.

awesome home in a quiet neighborhood. Great place to stay for exploring the nearby trails and waterfalls with the family and not too far from the city.

This chalet is new, airy, bright, modern with top quality fixtures and amenities. It was very comfortable, and the views of the St.Lawrence from inside or the outside decks are impressive. The driveway is rather steep, though short. If going there in the winter, front wheel drive only or four wheel drive cars without winter tires could be challenged to get up the driveway with snow and ice.

Listing was as described on the listing. It was clean and nicely decorated. They had all the essentials for our daily lives. The river view was beautiful. The owner was very kind, welcoming and responsive. The little plus, the outdoor fire by the forest and a short walk in the forest from the accommodation. The Charlevoix massif is not far by car as well as the pittoresque village of Saint Paul Bay. Thank you so much we had a lovely time.

I recently stayed at a delightful Airbnb nestled in the mountains, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the breathtaking views and the peaceful ambiance of the surroundings. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided excellent communication throughout my stay. The unit was spotless and beautifully decorated, with a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. The living room featured large windows that allowed natural light to flood the space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. I loved enjoying breakfast on the spacious deck while soaking in the stunning scenery. I would recommend staying here. The location was ideal for exploring the great outdoors. There were numerous hiking trails nearby, and I enjoyed several peaceful walks in nature.

Very nice house. There is only one bedroom with a door and privacy. But really perfect for a family. Very satisfied, thank you for having us!

This was my second stay at La Capitainerie, and it was just as pleasant and peaceful to be there! Vincent and Marie-Hélène are proactive and communicate all the necessary information before and during the stay. Their home not only offers a terrace with a magnificent view of the sunsets over the St. Lawrence River, but also everything you need to cook meals and entertain. They have a large collection of board games, books, CDs and DVDs. Perfect for rainy days!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful village of St-Jean-Port-Joli. The accommodation is really well located, you can't get better! A few steps from the river, its marina and all the other tourist attractions of the village. This is a 5*+ accommodation for the quality of the offer: good mattresses, bedding and pillows - superbly equipped kitchen - decor and furnishings more than perfect. It's up to date and well suited for small families. The host is very concerned about the comfort of the residents.

Very nice stay at Marlene's! We loved the decor and the view of the river. Everything was extremely clean and nothing was missing. The place is conducive to relaxation and everything is available on the island. (grocery store, shops). We really felt that the owner had done everything to make our visit enjoyable! Recommended, we will definitely come back.

Everything was perfect at Chalet le Shack! The space was exactly what we needed, the kitchen is well equipped, and very nice bathrooms with lots of towels! The location cannot be beat if you’re coming to cross country ski. Quick access to groceries and restaurants. We hope to come back again next winter!

As mentioned earlier, the place was lovely. The view of the river was breathtaking. The house was also beautiful... warm and cozy. I've never rented an Airbnb with so many services offered...coffees, accessories...entertainment options. Jean-Luc was proactive and responsive to our questions. Plus, we were even offered a welcome gift. I would recommend this place without hesitation for people who want to escape from the city and enjoy a magical and welcoming place.
