I offer it for rent for a few periods, thanks to my amazing co-host Tetyana, who will take care of welcoming you. My house (historic and family-owned!) in Ste-Marine: Ty Plouz, nicknamed “Le Paradis” by friends, right on the waterfront with a magnificent sea view and direct access to the estuary. Please note that sheets and towels are not provided by default, but if you send Tetyana a message, she can take care of it (price: €25 for the queen-size bed, €15 for the small bed, including a bath towel).

A haven between the sea and the river

Located in southern Finistère, a few kilometers from Pointe du Raz, in Cap Sizun, this old stone farmhouse, found in a state of ruin and restored with eco-responsible materials, overlooks the Goyen Valley. Direct access to hiking trails along the coastal river allows you to walk to the medieval city of Pont-Croix. It has three bedrooms, including one on the mezzanine with a sofa bed. Small fisherman's house located at the tip of Ile-Tudy. Ideally located in a small alley between sea and river. The accommodation has a bedroom, with queen size bed, located in the attic (note, small detail, there is no door to the bedroom) Wood-burning stove heating on the ground floor, electric heating is installed upstairs. Close to the port, with bakery, supermarket, bars and restaurants. Supermarket 5.5 km away.

Closer to the sea? Impossible! In good weather or during a storm, few lodgings in Brittany offer such proximity to the sea and the open sea. The Department of Finistère was not mistaken: it classified this place as a Protected Natural Area. This house, divided into two cottages, belonged to my great-grandparents: my great-grandfather, Le Youtar by his nickname, had started fishing at a time when you could only sail...
