The building was designed and constructed by the Tokei team, and the team operates it as an inn for many people to use. The distinctive architecture is a redesign of an old townhouse using modern construction methods and traditional materials. This is a lodge that rents a new building to a group of people in 2022. Accommodation fee included with Airbie fee. We have started accepting reservations for the Christmas season and the New Year's❣️ holidays About equipment and equipment Heating is equipped with underfloor heating on all floors on the 1st floor. We also provide a wood stove. Check-in is a little early throughout the year (after 2pm). Especially in winter, please come early as sunset is early in the forest. It is a 10-minute drive to the Komagatake Ropeway bus stop, making it the perfect location for mountain climbing, skiing, and learning about Japanese rural life. Sake and miso factories are also close by. The altitude is about 700 m and the stars are beautiful at night if the weather is clear. We also offer free bicycle rentals (2 bikes) for those who wish. The hosts are an Italian and Japanese couple who can speak English, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese. Why not come and visit an Italian family in Minamishinshu?

Good access to Shimosuwa Station! We renovated an 80-year-old Japanese house into a traditional and clean space. (New open in 2023!) You can spend a comfortable time by renting the entire building. Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.
