Skydrift is a heaven for nature lovers! Surrounded by lush green trees and soft chirping of birds the place is full of peace and tranquility. Our cottage, Kingfisher, was beautiful, pristine and quiet. The interiora were tastefully done, place was well furnished with all the basic amneties and the staff was just a call away. The outdoor jaccuzzi was cherry on the top and we spent some amazing moments savoring the stunning views of the mountains and valley. Yaman was an outstanding host, he greeted us personally at the time of check in and checked on us on every day of our stay. The staff was amazing and very helpful. They created an amazing sate night set up complete with bonfire and barbeque for us that looked straight out of fairytales! We had a wonderful stay at the Skydrift and can't wait to return soon!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and serene getaway! The surroundings were incredibly calm, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The location was ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The highlight of our stay was definitely the food—absolutely delicious! Every meal felt homemade with love, featuring fresh, flavorful ingredients. It truly added a special touch to the experience. The host was warm, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect during my stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking tranquility and great food. I’ll definitely be back!

The cabin was exactly same as it is shown in pictures. Caretaking staff are very polite and responsive. It is located in the middle of coffee platation and surrounded by hills. You can enjoy hearing to different birds in early morning. Totally it's a calm and private place. It's a great place for those who would like to detox from busy city life. Host is also responsive and helpful. Negatives: I found only one Negative point that the estate is located just few meters interior from main road in a coffee plantation, so from main road to estate you have to go through a metal road which is approximately 250 to 300 meters patch.

Just a ten-minute drive uphill from Jibhi brings you to this mesmerizing cottage, nestled amidst lush greenery — undoubtedly one of the most peaceful and breathtaking places we've ever visited. The space inside is perfect for two. It's bathed in natural light, and the use of glass and wood gives it a warm, homely charm. The skylight on the roof is especially captivating — watching raindrops splatter or leaves dance in the wind is pure magic. The bathroom is spacious and includes all the expected amenities. The cozy balcony offers stunning views in every direction. We ended up sampling several dishes from the menu and loved each one. Standout favorites included the scrambled eggs, French toast, and Chicken Kolhapuri. A huge shoutout to Nikhil bhai and Mahender bhai for the amazing food and heartfelt hospitality. They were always welcoming, and a pleasure to chat with. And of course, a warm thank you to Nonika. This stay was truly special, and we can't wait to return.

Awesome stay and host was available 24/7

The property is just what I was looking for a few days off getaway, far from the hustle bustle of tourists! The location is just perfect, offbeat but It’s peaceful serene and relatively unexplored. Bantu is a good cook, he prepared excellent hot meals and gave good recommendations. Best part is it’s a perfect place for pet parents as the property doesn’t have any cattle or other dogs/cats around.

Saurabh has been a very nice host to us And this property is absolutely amazing and I have no words to describe how much you will enjoy staying in this cabin , for anyone who is looking for some time off and want to spend a private vacation on the hills , This is the perfect property with a great host Me and My partner had an amazing time there and We are willing to go back again very soon Its very near to the main tourist attractions and the market aswel Moreover He offered us a private rooftop and a bonfire plus. Very accommodating place as it also has a kitchen for a long term tenant I will highly recommend this property and it’s worth every money spent to rent and live in here. We had a wonderful stay at Himalayan Cedar Nest! Satish and his team were hardworking, attentive, and always available to help with any queries. They went above and beyond to ensure every concern was addressed promptly, making us feel well cared for during our stay. The place itself was clean, cozy, and perfect for nature lovers and bird watchers. There are several beautiful trails nearby for short hikes, and the pine forest right behind the room adds a lovely, peaceful charm. We also thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food served on-site — it was a real highlight! The location is quiet and away from the hustle of crowds, yet still close enough to get essential supplies when needed. Highly recommended for a peaceful nature getaway!

Beautiful place, well maintained, and exactly as shown in the pictures. On a clear day, the sunset views are so pretty from this property. Raghav is a great host, he gave us really good local recommendations and has been extremely responsive throughout our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort, thanks to our amazing host, Iona. She was incredibly helpful and kind, assisting us in planning our days and ensuring we felt welcome. The food was freshly prepared from a homemade kitchen, adding a delightful touch to our experience. The location was easy to find, and Iona made sure everything was smooth. Meeting her lovely family was a pleasure, and relaxing in the cool cabin provided the perfect escape from the heat. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable stay.

This place is all about the stunning mountain and valley views! Tandi village is absolutely beautiful, and the locals are so warm and welcoming. If you're looking for peace and a break from the nonstop city hustle, this is the perfect spot to just relax and soak it all in. The cottage is cozy, well-built, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The homemade food was delicious—if you love simple, home-cooked meals, you’re in for a treat! Sure, cafés are everywhere these days, but nothing beats enjoying comfort food with a view like this. The only tricky part is the village road—it’s pretty narrow. If you're driving yourself, you’ll need solid experience handling mountain roads. Otherwise, a taxi is an easy and stress-free option. Overall, an amazing place to unwind and recharge!

Had a lovely experience at the place. Exactly matches what is being said in description. Friendly and lovely people Mohini and Sushil are. They both treat the property as their baby. We came to find peace and did find it. Such warming and welcoming people. 100% would recommend people to come

The best getaway we could have managed! We were 4 ladies & we felt so welcomed, comfortable & looked after during our stay. The cabin is by design quaint & beautiful. The atmosphere with the stream just below & mountains all around is breathtaking. That’s about the place. The people.. well, in one word amazing. The host Vaibhav was honest and straightforward even before we booked & clarified our doubts & concerns. Before we reached he was on call all the time to brief about the route & places to eat etc. The staff ...Prakashji is an all in one person with a subtle sense of humor too. We owe him a lot. Nitesh was there to help with any running around at all times. A special thanks to both Prakashji and Vaibhav as we had left some expensive items behind and they made sure we got them as soon as possible. A minor issue is the telephone network. Hardly any signal inside the house. But the wifi works. In all a marvellous experience and will surely visit again!!

Its better than what you see in the photos. Lovely cottage, lovely location and a great host. We spent just a day there but felt like our own home throughout. Must must visit and next time visiting for a longer stay! 🙂

We stayed at “Veteran’s Cabin” which is one of the houses at Harish’s property. Beautiful house with a comfortable bed and a very nice balcony overseeing Shimla town and Tara Devi temple. It’s nestled very privately amidst the forest near a small village in Shogi. Anubhav bhaiya took good care of us. The food was homely and delicious (especially the vegetable Poha and Sandwich) Overall it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Edwin’s place was a great find—well-appointed, clean, peaceful and picturesque. The staff—primarily SURAJ—were invaluable and unfailingly attentive. The on-site meals were exquisite, I highly recommend the stay.

This property is a magic in itself, surrounded by lush green plantations along with various hidden spots to explore. Property seems isolated but there lies the beauty. A perfect place to experience nature.

Calm and peaceful stay which I really enjoyed. Chaitanya and Amanda are great hosts, they send local points of interest also allowed an early check in. The place is in forest, so it's quite, but it is also depends on your neighbours (there is another house next to this one), it's not a big deal as you can just discuss sleep time with them. There are two ways to Agonda beach, it takes a little more than 10 minutes, I recommend to book a scooter. There is a good wifi, I even was able to work vpn+RDP. Overall I recommend this place.

Yograj ji and Radha ji are ideal hosts. They were extremely responsive and considerate. Their place was just as serene as shown in the pictures and description. Thank you so much for having us. Grateful for all the beautiful memories. Will surely come back some day.

Our stay was for one night but it was a totally satisfactory stay. Complete privacy amidst beautiful nature. The cabin had beautiful paintings which was admirable and completely made of wood. It has a beautiful balcony and the washroom also is amazing and bright. The food is simply delicious. You would get mostly south indian cuisine but taste is really good. Senthil as a host is really fantastic as he wishes to meet and greet his guests personally and spends good quality time and explains about things around. He has some cute dogs who are of no harm, you just need to pet & play with them. Its just an apt place if you wish to spend some peaceful and silent time without having to do anything. May be 15 min of walk you will find a beautiful river where you can dip yourself if you wish to. Not a very hi-fi place but definitely a amazing private place to watch the sky and the mountains arounds. You would feel wonderful with the smell of nature all around you. Thankyou senthil

Tucked away in a peaceful village, there's zero disturbance—just calm, quiet, and beautiful views all around. The serenity here feels like the perfect remedy for anyone needing a mental reset. The property is exactly as described. While the last stretch of the road is a bit muddy, the owner thoughtfully provides free pick-up and drop-off from the paved road at check-in and check-out, which is a big plus. Highly recommend this place to anyone seeking peace, healing, and a refreshing break for the mind and soul.

The stay was wonderful, totally liked the ambience. Lovely interior, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom and whatnot! The only challenge was that we couldn't find a good restaurant nearby, but i would still give 5/5 for The Hut! 🛖

Priyanka and Shyam were an amazing host. The stay was beyond our expectations. You don’t even need to go out anywhere to enjoy Kodaikanal, it’s all there! I would visit again and recommend everyone to visit at least once!
