Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Indiana Dunes National Park

Very nice place, comfortable bed, shiny new appliances. It is on the small side -- perfect for one person but might be a tight fight for two. Location was great -- close to the Wilson red line station. Easy walk to many restaurants, coffee and most importantly, Wrigley Field. There was not much street noise--in fact, the only noise I really heard was from the people and dogs in the upstairs unit. There is an extremely bright street light outside the windows that illuminates the room during the night, so bring a sleep mask.

Diana was an excellent host - very responsive and helpful. She answered all my questions promptly, and my son and I truly enjoyed our stay.

Terrific location, terrific space, terrific views. Hosts were responsive and flexible. Looking forward to our next visit.

We loved how convenient this place is to everything. The area was safe and walkable. You do have to get a key in the alleyway right around the corner but it’s not far at all from where you check in at. Front desk is nice and Claude is great at responding fast!

Aaron was an excellent host - he provided great recommendations and reached out to make sure we were OK. The lobby at Lawrence House was a gorgeous place to meet with our Chicago family members for drinks from Larry's. We would definitely stay with Aaron again

We had a great stay at Joe's place. Just loved it. My 5 years old enjoyed a lot. Instructions were very clear. Joe is very responsive to all the questions we have asked. I am very impressed to see all the minute details were planned and taken care off. We loved the dedicated parking and the beautiful covered patio.

This really fit what my wife and I were looking for. Velvet is a phenomenal host and is super communicative. Loved our experience and would live here again.

This place was amazing! We loved the location, it had everything that you needed and didn’t know you needed…lol. The Asian-American market was awesome (a block away) we picked up groceries and ate there too…the fresh to-order food was simply delicious. The pizza spot, breakfast restaurant, bar and etc…was super convenient and the apartment was not far from downtown. The apartment was like staying at home with a touch of luxury (looks just like the beautiful pictures). The rooftop balcony was a great added bonus for hanging out, and you can grill up there also. Christian was a dream host. She was super responsive and helped with my/our every need. We will definitely be staying here again!

Such a cute and cozy place to stay! Check in was a breeze and the house is very well stocked with everything you need. There was construction going on in the parking lot and the hosts were great at keeping us updated with where to park every day.

Rockstar 3A was everything we hoped it would be and MORE. Amazing location to start with. The unit itself was immaculate. Very nice layout and never felt cramped with 4 adults staying for 2 nights. It has great TV's if you end up staying in, and a kick ass air conditioner for the hot days (it was HOT for our couple of days) There is nothing our group could find that was wrong with the place. It was PERFECT.

Wendy and Matt's place was comfortable and homey. The location was great, the apartment comfortable, and we had essential amenities. The building is mid-century modern and designed by famed architect Harry Weese that incorporates thoughtful references to Chicago architectural history throughout while still remaining visually cohesive. One minor issue is the stove, which is electric and somewhat underpowered. It's good enough for minor work like breakfast or heating leftovers but you may struggle producing more elaborate meals. It was a very minor quibble but worth noting for those culinarians wanting to prepare their own meals. The oven is decent but there is only one. Overall, my stay was excellent and I recommend Wendy and Matt's place wholeheartedly. They are excellent hosts as well.

This home was beautifully decorated, the beds were super comfortable, from the mattresses to the linens. We loved how clean and clearly cared for everything was, and Mark and Marcelo were responsive and helpful anytime we had a question. We needed a place that felt like home while visiting Chicago for my son's graduation, and this was perfect for the three of us. An added bonus was that there is a designated parking spot on the premises.

This place was a total hit for our Chicago trip to see Kendrick Lamar! The infrared sauna was a hit, and the area was super chill with plenty of parking. The decor was awesome too - it was full of geeky stuff that we both loved. My partner and I were convinced the decorator could be our friend. The bookshelf downstairs had some really cool books that we didn’t even know existed. We’ll definitely check this place out again when we come back.

Great location for shows at the Aragon! There are lots of delicious restaurants nearby and a close liquor store as well. many things within walking distance so once finding a spot we didn't have to drive anywhere! The room was nice and the shower was amazing. The bed was really comfortable!

Clean, well kept, looked just like the pictures, easy, check-in process, and clear instructions! We enjoyed our stay! Cute little home :)

The house and adjoining land are so beautiful and peaceful. The house has a beautiful wooden interior and very open layout. The kitchen is super spacious, which makes it easy to maneuver. The backyard and patio area are great places to have larger group gatherings. The bedrooms are adequately equipped with all needs, and the bathrooms are well maintained. Our group enjoyed every aspect of the house, and we believed it’s one of the most visually beautiful interiors we’ve seen. We would highly recommend staying here, especially with ease of use to get to nearby locations.

Had a wonderful time staying at Dunetop Escape! The owners were very nice and responsive. Very knowledgeable about the area and made some awesome recommendations. The house was spotless and very accommodating. The house has a lot of usable space and even more sleeping areas! Loved that they made beach days so easy as they had everything you may ever need. Will absolutely be looking to book this location again and look forward to exploring more of Michigan City.

Very pretty and comfortable home. We loved visiting with Karen the chicken and looking at the cows. Michelle was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful with local information. We found the traffic noise to be a challenge.

Mike provided a remarkable experience for us from an inviting ambiance in the home with cozy furniture, immaculate bedding, an abundance of fresh linens, to extremely generous amenities that count when traveling such as a wide variety coffee/teas on his in-house coffee bar with filtered water (!!!), to his exercise equipment in the basement! This property is in a great location for attending Notre Dame games as well as accessing other tri-state activities. He has the house set up to comfortably accommodate either families or individual adults with privacy. He was quick to provide information and also provided great check-in/out time slots with easy self-check in! This was a 5 Star experience on every front! We highly recommend!

We were 2 families staying at the house and it was the perfect place to make so many memories! The downstairs living space and bedroom with the 3 beds was a great spot for the kids to retreat to for late night movies and playing pool! The kitchen was well appointed with all necessary supplies. The living room couches were so unbelievably comfortable—many naps were taken there. The golf cart was extremely helpful since the beach was a little less than a mile away and the kids did not want to do the walk every day with all the beach stuff. I think our only wishes were that the golf cart was a 6 person and that there was at least another frying pan. Otherwise, amazing trip at an amazing house!

We had a great time staying at Mark's place. We had everything we needed, close to all the things you need, easy walk to brown line and red lines to get Downtown. The space was comfortable and well decorated, with a beautiful back courtyard to hang out in. Plus if you enjoy phones, this is your kind of place.😜

The house is gorgeous, incredibly clean and very comfortable. Worth every cent
