Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Indonesia

It’s hard to put into words how wonderful our stay was. This was a big trip for my grandmothers 89th bday. Six women and a baby traveling from the US. Chika did above and beyond helping find the best restaurants, spa’s, shopping, drivers, temple’s…etc The home is absolutely stunning with so many personal touches. The backyard view with the pool is exactly what you want when visiting Bali. Her staff was the sweetest, breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely book here again and recommended to anyone going. We are so grateful to have been able to stay here and experience Ubud’s beauty.

Great host, beautiful place! It was a very nice stay overall. Host Manik was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We loved the two adorable cats Happy and Lili who were very well behaved and affectionate. Expect about 3-5 minutes of walking from the car park to the villa. It’s a nice tranquil walk off the beaten path passing by a garden, but it may be slightly inconvenient with toddlers or wheelchairs. But overall I still highly recommend this villa.

The place was fantastic.i love it.good ambience.excluded from the noise and very privacy.just a note to remember,we need a transport (scooter/grab) to move around.however the host is very helpfull and friendly. Especially mr arya who will willing to help you in buying groceries or food. Overall, me and my family were very satisfied with the place.

Loveliest place, especially for a family getaway. Feels like finding a peaceful, Japanese gem all the way in the middle of Bandung. The onsen-style bath is what stood out, and the tatami room is such an authentic touch. The host Januar is very friendly, and the caretaker of the house Pak Didin is super helpful. Don’t miss out on their bonfire offering. Thank you, we had the best time! Ps: Although the neighbourhood is lovely, clean and generally quiet, but it seems that there are some constructions around when we stayed there. Not a deal breaker for us, but for future guests who might be sensitive to noise maybe ask the host before booking.

Such a beautiful villa, could’ve happily stayed there all day and not felt guilty about not exploring Ubud town. It was cleaned daily by staff, very much spotless. Breakfast made each morning was delicious. Access to property can be a bit tricky if you aren’t confident on a scooter, but is walkable too. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is an oasis. If you are looking to escape the craziness and want to be immersed in nature this is your spot. From organic veggies, the country chicken the local family prepared for us. We were so happy we found this hidden gem.

The villa is beautiful to stay in. It had a very peaceful vibe, eye catching art and beautiful balinese furnishings, in amongst the rice fields. Very clean. A perfect spot to stay at, away from the hustle and bustle of what is Ubud is now. Agustin (house manager) and housekeeping staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly. They delivered some groceries (and beer!), organise drivers and bikes for us. Communication was no problem. They made our stay there so easy! At the street address there is no sign (that we could read anyway) to know that you are there. The house is hidden at the back in the fields so you need to follow the small path down, to the right, then up the 2nd to the left. Turn left at the path T intersection at the top. Though the lovely housekeeper ended up finding us and escorted us with our bags up to the villa. I loved watching the fieldman shoo gaggles of ducks into new paddocks. Beautiful sunrises 🥰

Great stay in this superb villa that offers a friendly space and a magnificent view of terraced rice fields. Impeccable service from all the staff. We recommend this villa to anyone looking for a quality home, far from the hustle and bustle of CANGGU without being too far away...

Had the best time at AIR. The apartment is so much bigger than expected and really comfortable. The location is great for the centre of Ubud while being out of the way enough to also be quiet. But by far the best thing was the interaction with other guests and the community vibe AIR has - breakfast conversations and evening hang outs (while feeling totally at ease being able to have my own space when needed). Whether you’re a creative or not, this place felt so welcoming.

My family had a truly wonderful time staying here. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and perfectly in tune with the natural beauty of the surroundings. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed (everything you need), offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. Loved the pool and water. What made the stay extra special was the warmth and friendliness of the host Wayne, Zee and Monte (friendly dog). All really made us feel at home and Wayne had great eating recommendations. The location is great for soaking in selong balanak charm (laid back), with easy access to the nearby beach (10 mins walk) with Lovely sunsets. Wayne has 4 cycles which are free to use. Kuta 30 mins by car and tangung ban (Bum bum warung & Aloha beach club) and Bikut Merese (Sunset) 45 mins. These should be visited. Hire a car or a bike which is a must to move around. Highly recommend Salty Siesta to anyone looking for a serene and memorable escape. I’d gladly return

I really enjoyed my stay at the Lighthouse Bingin. Everything was like I expected it. It is super new and a very calm place, the contact is friendly and they help you with everything you need. It’s also not far to the city center with a lot of great restaurants, so you can just hop on your scooter or even walk if you want to. Would definitely recommend it! 🙂

Our stay with Ning and Michael has been absolutely amazing. They are both extremely accommodating and welcoming as hosts. the Property is beautiful, and has everything you could need for a long or short stay. We loved it so much we extended out stay 3 times. Would give it 10 stars if i could! we will definitely be booking with them again. daily cleaning, privacy, quiet area, great restaurants in the area, and numerous areas to relax made it a 10/10 stay. - Great location, you have everything you need directly on site. There are practically 3 large malls close to each other and are all within walking distance. - The internet worked very well - You can go to the sauna, outdoor and indoor pool. - A communal beautiful terrace - Apartment was quite clean - A small desk was broken but was replaced after a few days. - Disadvantage, in the photos it looks a little bigger, but it is enough for a person or couple. - Kitchen is set up for two people, no longer - No water on arrival All in all, after which the desk was brought to me, everything was a good fit for me. Had to stay in Jakarta a little longer than planned, I also extended the stay.

We stayed here for 2 days with our family while visiting Bandung, and the first thing we noticed was how clean and tidy the place was. It’s spotless and smells wonderful. The pantry is well-equipped with everything we needed, and the master bedroom was very comfortable with plenty of storage space. The host was also very friendly and responsive. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Bandung.

It was a great experience to stay in Iqbals' apartment. The location is great. The apartment is very quiet. Nearby are many delicious restaurants and stores. The communication with Iqbal was always very good.

Harumi is a super attentive host! He was always smiley and helpful anytime I needed anything. I loved the area where is located, (definitely less busy than Canggu center), and loved the pool area where I could swim most of my days ☺️ I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who travels solo or with their partner! If I’m back in Bali I wouldn’t hesitate to book my stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! The location is amazing, surrounded by lush jungle and the cabin is stocked with everything you need. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the food at the lodge was fantastic. Highly recommend!

A serene nature escape with a cozy home. His place is separated from other glamping areas, which makes it unique with the natural view of the mountain landscape, cold breeze, scenic sunset and camp fire area. Best place to rest and breathe fresh air. The location provides seclusion for couples and solitude for individual meditation or healing. We love the warm campfire with the simple dinner. The glass area of the house provides an exceptional view of the surroundings. We just hope next time we can visit during clear weather to also enjoy star gazing. I hope we can go back again. Highly recommended place!

Mas Irul’s cabin was very well located. Near to the food court and any local foods. The staff really helpful and very kind.

This is a truly special place we’ll never forget. We’ve traveled a lot, but never stayed in such a unique home. It’s not about traditional comfort — it’s about the atmosphere of total silence, nature, and solitude. The house is set deep in the rice fields and jungle, with no one around — only the sounds of nature. Nights can feel a bit scary, but mornings are pure bliss. The pool is filled with natural spring water — no chemicals, just cold, clean freshness. We spent the whole day swimming, even though we usually avoid hotel pools. The architecture of the house is incredible — it makes you feel deeply connected to nature and yourself. And a special thank you to the host — so kind and welcoming. He helped us light a fire and set up a cozy BBQ evening. We’ll remember this experience for a long time.

Staying with Frances and Adi was just great. Their team is amazing. And the accommodation including the whole surroundings made it so easy to come down and relax. Simply Paradies. It’s super private and the surrounding nature is stunning. Loved the brand new pool and all their helpful recommendations for restaurants. Also we learned about Balinese culture from them! Probably our favourite part about staying with them. Definitely would come back.

We were warmly welcomed. Although we arrived late, we got authentic jungle food that was very tasty. We had a very nice time and the mud ceremony was a special experience.
