I can’t recommend Watermill Cottage highly enough. It really is a fabulous place with nothing missed in terms of what’s provided and in a quiet location that is perfect for touring The Lakes Their pub next door brews some fantastic beers, produces a great range of food and from a noise perspective, you wouldn’t even know it was there The freshness of the decor in the cottage along with the wonderfully kitted out rooms and exceptionally comfortable beds make this place a truly lovely home from home and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks Sarah and gang.. you’ve absolutely nailed it!

We really enjoyed a few days in Ian's spacious cottage, which is in a great location with easy access to Windermere and Ambleside. A well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds were much appreciated.

I definitely recommend this cottage. It is very well-equipped and clean, and the location is excellent.

Had a fantastic stay at Silver Cottage! Staveley is a great spot to stay whilst exploring the Lake District - it has good local cafes and food options as well as dog walks. The cottage was perfect, as described kitchen is on the smaller side but had everything we needed for 5 days. Margaret is a lovely host and who’s highly responsive and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay!
