Greg's house has the most beautiful view we have ever seen. The house is gorgeous, the furnishing stylish and the architecture is perfectly designed to allow you to enjoy the view from any place in the house, even the bathroom. We particularly loved the view from the open air kitchen. The beach below the house is perfect for enjoying the ocean, and at low tide you can walk on the reef and enjoy looking at a myriad of sea creatures that live in the rock formations. A fabulous place for a wonderful weekend.

This was one of the most beautiful places we went to on our trip to Mozambique. I will definitely come back here with my family and friends as it is one of the most beautiful spots and serene places to be. I highly recommend it to everyone trying to find some peace and a beautiful home away from home.

The place is peaceful and very cozy, has everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms. Mariana is very responsive and always helps with any questions ! She will also recommend activities and a local guide to show you around. A lovely stay on a beautiful island !

Our stay in Mar de las Calmas was simply unforgettable. Carlos, the host, welcomed us with great kindness, picking us up at the port with his 4x4 and taking us to the accommodation. The place is a real paradise - spotless and surrounded by a coconut garden, BBQ area, and hammocks perfect for relaxing. The room, exquisitely decorated, was equipped with all amenities, including a very comfortable bed, full bathroom, refrigerator and a charming terrace overlooking the mangrove. Thanks to Carlos' recommendations, we explored virgin beaches, visited the Reserve Museum, and enjoyed a unique dive in the coral reefs, guided by an expert scuba diver. The dinners in the villa delighted us with local flavors. As a gold brooch, in the evening, Carlos showed us the southern hemisphere constellations and with his telescope we were able to admire Saturno, Jupiter and objects of deep space. A dreamy place to stay!

Entire experience of the stay exceeded our expectations! Marlene was very sweet and prompt to reply each time we needed anything. Was able to buy chicken, seafood and a great massage from locals. Wonderful staff for prompt cleaning multiple times a day and the most amazing views. I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Santa Maria Beach!

We add our voice to the many glowing reviews. An unbeatable spot, extremely responsive and helpful host and mind-blowing sunsets. The outside shower under the stars was simply amazing. We were a couple with a four year old child and it was the the right distance to be easily walkable to the beach and set back enough to get a quiet night's rest. We really hope to return one day.

Very nice location in front of a wonderful pristine beach, clean and charming. Road through the private reserve is quite challenging, put extra attention on the dunes selecting the path with less sand and speeding up. Very good for a disconnected long weekend considering it is quite hard to get the network. We spent a wonderful X-mas time and Jurgen also accommodated for a very good chef. Definitely recommended.

Amazing place. Simple and well-integrated in its location. Near the beach, the restaurant, the beach bar, the ocean side, and with the advantage of being in the bush and not on top of the water exposed to all the action there. the views are amazing and the fact that is a bit up the hill its a major plus! The staff is great!
