For those who really want to experience the best Helgøya has to offer. Villa Leonore is a summer house built for tramway director Dybwad's wife Leonore in 1915. A nice garden leads down to a private beach by Mjøsa. Beautiful perennial bed and a separate kitchen garden to supply yourself with. You can relax on the porch with a good book, and make delicious local and organic food, with the farm's and the area's own products. Olavstøga is a two-storey log house from 1840. We have spent a good six months renovating the entire house inside. Here you will find all modern facilities, but all in the old style, so you get a good, old-fashioned atmosphere in this old, venerable house. Outside there is a large porch with dining area. Beautiful view of the lake Vangsmjøsa and the surrounding mountains - here you can find peace!
