Mit dem NO.8 spreche ich alle diejenigen an, welche auf der Suche sind nach der etwas spezielleren Unterkunft, dafür aber nicht ein vermögen bezahlen möchten und doch eine zentrale Lage und gepflegtes Design schätzen. Durch die moderne Gästeküche, hast du die Möglichkeit auch mal selbst etwas zu kochen. Diese Möglichkeit dürfte insbesondere von Familien geschätzt werden. Bis bald im NO.8

Pension Gimmelwald, twin room

The Pension is a cosy, old, family hotel high in the Alps only reachable by cable car. We have kept the character and style of the old Swiss mountain hotel (including low ceilings) featuring the history of the building and the village. Gimmelwald itself is car free and world famous as an example of a traditional farming village, some of the buildings are 400 years old. The Pension is a place of peace. Gimmelwald is the perfect escape from the rush of modern life, the ultimate getaway.

Spannort "Couple" Room with SelfCheck-In & kitchen

The traditional Spannort - Your family-home with common kitchen and Self Check-In is located right in the centre of Engelberg, close to the train station, free shuttle-bus to the lifts, sightseeing and shops. The perfectly equipped common kitchens, the separated children playroom and sitting area in the 1th floor are inviting all guest to use for free. The house has been freshly renovated in 2022 and all rooms have its own balcony, free WiFi, TV and Check-In by our own hotel-app.

Pension Gimmelwald, twin room

Family hotel with cosy bar Children & dog friendly. We serve our own craft beers: lager, amber and our famous Schwarz Mönch. Great location for sledging and only a 10 minutes cable car trip away from the first ski piste! After a lovely day out we offer a comfy space for a hot drink, a beer and some home style food.Please note that the pictures are an example of room. We have different rooms but they all have they same cosy feel about them.

Massai Lodge

The hotel has one of the best views in Europe. The boutique hotel impresses with the ten themed rooms lovingly furnished by an artist. These take you to different worlds. Who wouldn't want to go on safari and watch the wild animals? Here you will be taken to southern Africa. You can see the animals, the mountains and the lake directly from the hot tub. Relax in the sauna or the spacious bed or cool off under the bush shower.

Double room “Superieur” direct lake view + balcony

In our most beautiful double room with a frontal view of the lake and mountains and a private balcony, we invite you to spend the night and relax. The room offers a fantastic panoramic view of Lake Thun and the mountain ranges such as the Stockhorn, Niesen, Balmhorn, Doldenhorn and the Blüemlisalp. It is equipped with a double bed (1.6m), bedside table and television, bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer.

Color room

Our rose room is newly renovated. The large beds with great bedding promise a wonderful night's sleep. The great breakfast with regional specialties strengthens you for a great day in the Bernese Oberland. Our house is located in the sunniest place on Lake Thun. Beautiful view of mountains and lake. In 10 minutes you can reach Interlaken or Spiez, in 30 minutes you can reach Grindelwald, Mürren or Adelboden.

Single room with a view of the Jungfrau

Look forward to a stay high up in beautiful Wengen, near the woods, at Hotel Alpenruhe; a 3-star Hotel Garni with 24 rooms. Located on the second floor of The Aarburg is this charming Single bedroom with river and mountain views. The room is bright, clean and perfect for a guest to take in the views of the Alps, and relax for as long as you please. The room has a chair, desk and its own en suite bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. A continental breakfast is included daily.

Boutique Room Fleur de Lis with awesome views

The bed and breakfast Gantrisch Cottage Ferienzimmer, located in the centre of the rural municipality of Rüeggisberg, was once the main business of the town. Today, garden decoration items are sold here on the ground floor. This property is 20 km from Bern and Thun. You can book sightseeing flights across the Alps with the staff of the Cottage.
