Had a lovely stay at Jill's place. Very serene and peaceful, with lots of bird activity (my favorite!). Jill was very thoughtful and bought some snack and breakfast items for us to enjoy during our stay. Her place was extremely clean and inviting. Temperature was cool when we first entered but warmed up as soon as Jill helped us find the thermostat. Pictures were accurate. Visitors should feel comfortable with stairs (bathroom is on the second floor), but that was really the only note I'd share. The big wrap around porch is spacious and inviting, and was a cool place to watch a rainstorm from. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

This lovely cottage is charming, warmly welcoming and very clean which is always appreciated. There's plenty of space and it's well appointed with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable, there's just enough furniture and an awesome fireplace too. What I love most about the interior is that, even though it's been updated, the original wood and classic structure is still there.. The entire place makes you feel right at home. The view from the screened in porch is outstanding, with Cayuga Lake right in front of you. The back of the cottage is surrounded by beautiful forest with a trail that leads to a waterfall, that's rather magical. We were there for 3 nights but wished we cold have stayed longer! Hosts Randle and Branch were fantastic and easy to reach. What I will remember most about this place is the energy, both inside and out. It's like you can feel all the great experiences people have had here over the years. It is a place you will want to return to.

Rob is a great host who’s always responsive and helpful. He has maintained this apartment spotlessly clean and well organized, providing a home-like cozy environment. I specifically LOVE the rolling chair by the window where I can read and chill at. If whoever’s reading this comment is looking for a place to stay when visiting the finger lakes, Rob’s place is a great option to consider - especially for the early summer months, countless fireflies around the house just added so much more to our staying.

Thank you for our wonderful stay this weekend. Your place is the quintessential lake cottage. Everything we needed was supplied and at our fingertips, without being overrun with “stuff.” Well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. It was a cool, rainy weekend and we took full advantage of the bedroom fireplaces and extra blankets! Would love to come back to enjoy summer-time at your place. Thank you!

This stay was a unique in that I plan to build a similar home as this one and I needed the opportunity to see what it would be like. Sally was super helpful not only with the Airbnb, but also with the home itself. Everything was super clean, well organized, no weird smells, and so well equipped. Sally has incredible taste. You will not be disappointed. Plus as a super host she’s so responsive and flexible. Such a great stay!

This is an adorable, well decorated and cozy spot in the middle of a charming little town 20 minutes from Cornell University, wineries, hiking at some of the area’s “gorgeous gorges”, great restaurants and more. Karen (and her husband) are very proactive and responsive. Any question or need was answered quickly and with good results. I confidently recommend 1888!
