This place is gorgeous! An old world character home with all the mod cons. The views are amazing!! Such a treat to wake in your bed and look straight out to a magic sunrise each morning. It was so toasty warm with a great fire and heat pumps to take the chill off. We will definitely be back.

Janines's place is even lovelier than the pictures. Fabulous view, right on the beach and perfect for walking and dolphin spotting (at the right time of year). Particularly appreciated the very well equipped kitchen; and two bathrooms made for a very comfortable stay for a couple and two singles (with own double bedrooms). Very comfy beds. Hoping to come back again!

Lovely new place to stay with everything you needed for a weekend getaway. The weather wasn't kind to us so we made good use of the Ludo set and spent quality family time. We will have to come back in summer to do some exploring and enjoy the outside bath and firepit to toast some marshmallows. Highly recommend to others. Thanks Mel and James.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Judy's place, it was a cosy cottage that met all our expectations. Bluff is great little town and the local folks are really friendly ,I highly recommend it for a weekend away.The cottage was clean and warm with lots of character, I have no hesitation in recommending it.

We stayed here over the Easter weekend and it was a lovely warm cozy home. Well looked after amazing kitchen and bathroom and very generous size rooms. Host was friendly and very responsive would highly recommend

Fantastic place! Just as the pictures show. Beautiful, warm and sunny (north-facing) home with a great shower and a really comfy bed. The covered and sheltered deck made the picnic table a lovely spot to enjoy the afternoon. An easy walk to the beach. A great place to escape for a get-a-way and enjoy some time out, but with all of the comforts of home. Thank you!

Sally's cottage is quaint and authentic plus great care has been taken to provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very well equipped kitchen, including very helpful basics like cooking oil. Right in centre of town.

Caroline is a responsive & thoughtful host. Plum tree cottage was exactly what we needed. Clean, tidy & walkable to Beautiful Riverton. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank You!

This property is insanely good! Tremendous character, comfortable and makes me want to visit Southland just to stay here. Peaceful and quiet, a rural oasis, but fear not, for the more socially minded an excellent bar and restaurant was just 3 minutes drive down the road. This property has been a labour of love and it shows. One of the very best I’ve stayed in.

Mark has been very responsive throughout our stay there for any query that I had. The house is very nice as per pictures as well. Cute stickers on the wall that explains about Invercargill.

really nice place to stay and relax. we came from Christchurch with our toddler and I was relieved when we walked into the warm, cosy and clean beauty in Riverton. the relaxing soak in the bath was just what we needed. the next day our little one loved splashing about in it as well! Deborah was a lovely host and had everything we needed for this particular trip. we didn't end up bringing our dogs, but the fact that they were welcome too was just awesome. thank you for sharing 🥰
