Cottage holiday rentals in Ironbridge

Very perfect place to stay with our large family and two dogs - very isolated, quiet, and our host Shane was on hand if needed. Very much recommended, and of course the jacuzzi hot tub was the icing on the cake!

Our second time at this lovely hideaway in the Shropshire countryside. Not disappointed as this is a lovely place and you feel at home straight away. We were both suffering from colds and Rebecca was very easy to communicate with when we needed more heating. Great place and we plan to be back again next year.

What a truly beautiful venue if you want a quiet & private setting with amazing views & a trip to wonderful day trip to Ludlow with lazy cafes & a wonderful river walk… beds were comfy, everything you needed & a private hot tub was the perfect end to a days walking!

We’ve had a peaceful and happy time at Jane’s Garden Terrace. We made excellent use of the soft lush lawn to play games and relax, enjoying the sun beds and table and chairs. The beds and such are comfortable, the kitchen has most of what is needed but hot water in the kitchen was not available. The shower over the bath has to be used laid down or crouched over so would not suit a person with mobility issues. Lovely decking area and hot tub. Jane was super friendly and most kind. We wanted a rural location for a girls catch up and this accm delivers exactly that.

My daughter's and I really enjoyed our short Easter break. The location was so peaceful and beautiful. A much needed retreat from Birmingham. We made full use of the wonderfully relaxing hot tub. We enjoyed a meal out at The Ship Inn and several walks along the river. We took a walk to The Severn Valley Visitors Centre and caught the steam train back from the Country Park Halt. A lovely afternoon out. We recommend this Airbnb and hope yo visit again in the future.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Coals View. Firstly Tom and Louise were very helpful with directions and instructions and couldn't possibly do enough. It's a gorgeous property and immediately felt right at home and very relaxed. Place was spotless. Had everything I could need and more for my stay. Lots of great little touches, clearly with guests in mind. Lovely garden area to sit and relax, and the hot tub was a lovely treat in the evening. Felt very private and was left to my stay, but I know I could contact them at any point if needed. Would gladly returned, and have already recommended to family. Thanks so much.

What a wonderful time we had on our honeymoon. Sarah was an incredible host and we had such a warm welcome. Once checked in Sarah was available via text but left us to enjoy our time. The house was really clean and beautifully decorated, it has everything we needed and we were able to cook in the lovely kitchen. There was lots to do around the area including national trusts and plenty of dog walks. The garden and hot tub were bliss and we really felt as though we were on a luxury break. The bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and very comfortable, and the brightness in the front room and kitchen was so beautiful. We would absolutely return and loved meeting Sarah, would highly recommend this air b&b. It was perfect in every way!

Wood Cottage is absolutely beautiful. The house is well equipped and perfectly maintained. The setting is extraordinary with beautiful gardens with plenty of privacy and peace. Thanks to Samantha and Andy’s instructions it’s also easy to find, whereas the post code is a little more difficult. Their communication was proactive and timely, but not at all intrusive. The sauna, plunge pool and hot tub are a real treat, although the hot tub is a little temperamental in that we struggled to get some of the jets to work. However, given that is the only room for improvement we could identify on the accommodation, it’s clear that a stay at Wood Cottage comes highly recommended and we hope to return!

A lovely cottage perfect location away from hustle and bustle. Hosts were very nice people and expressed that if we needed anything we were only to ask but we didn’t need to as everything was as expected. Can highly recommend.

WOW ! Had a great holiday ! We didn’t want to leave ! Windmill Lodge is a little peace of Heaven Set In idyllic surroundings with a beautiful pond (loved the ducks ) And peaceful surroundings Lisa was a great host Greeted warmly and surprised with a welcoming card and “scrummy” cake to start the holiday off well. Tea and coffee and milk provided in a well equipped spotless,kitchen Furniture very comfy All rooms were very clean and of a high standard with plenty of little touches in every room to make us feel at home Lisa was on hand if we needed anything but we had our privacy. We had a very warm welcome from Bob and Caroline and a wonderful week in the beautifully appointed lodge in the grounds of their characterful property. Great attention to detail, comfortable beds and a lovely enclosed courtyard garden which was perfect for our whippet. Everything so well thought out and presented including numerous books, DVDs and games, a home-made gift, fresh flowers ….. Bishop’s Castle has much to offer - several pubs and cafes, quirky shops, a great butcher and scenic walks from the doorstep of Writer’s Lodge. A perfect stay in every way!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a few days and had an unforgettable experience. This Airbnb is stunning, homely and has everything you need in it for a weekend away. It was also spotless and gave a lovely feeling of the village vibe. The bedroom is spacious with a comfortable bed, while the upstairs living room and kitchen is the coziest and cutest spot for a perfect night in after a day of hiking. There is also a small garden seating area which looked wholesome but unfortunately the weather wasn’t quite up for it for us! My only complaint was that the heating was faulty and had to be fixed during our stay. But I must say the owner quick in response and sorted it asap. In terms of the location, the house sits right next to Berry’s cafe and a stones throw from Jaipur, an Indian restaurant. These are perfect for breakfast and dinner. Church Stretton has plenty of shops to buy souvenirs too. Stretton Hills is breathtaking, which goes without saying, and Id reccomend anyone to visit.

We (a group of friends) had a wonderful and peaceful stay in Genevieve's cottage. The cottage is in such a relaxing location, set among mature trees and a wild garden, with chickens and cats roaming. You feel really immersed in nature and we immediately felt relaxed. The cottage is extremely comfortable and kitted with everything you could think of needing, including additional touches like dressing gowns! We were welcomed with fresh milk, butter, cake, homemade jams and fresh bread, thank you so much! The location was excellent for access to local walks and we enjoyed walking up to the Stiperstones. We also walked down to the Stiperstones Inn and had lovely fish and chips. We enjoyed relaxing in the cottage, listening to the extensive folk collection and catching up. Victory Cottage was a really cozy and wonderful place to spend a few days exploring Ludlow and the surrounding Shropshire area. It's a short (25 min) walk away from the centre of Ludlow, and a 30 minute drive from Church Stretton and the Long Mynd. The cottage is really comfortable and beautifully decorated, and we loved relaxing on the sofa every night after a day's exploring. The cottage is actually even better than the pictures - the bedroom is spacious, the kitchen is really well equipped, and we enjoyed having breakfast in the sunny conservatory at the front of the house. Despite being next to the pub and on a main road, it was quiet and peaceful - a private getaway! Anne was a great host, and even lit the fire before we arrived, which was so welcoming. We highly recommend Victory Cottage to anyone.

Cosy, comfortable and clean - we loved this small, historic cottage. Perfect stay for a couple. We were lucky with the weather so enjoyed the beautiful local walks but even if it rains non-stop for your visit, the museums, pubs and local shops provide ample entertainment. Comfortable bed and the peace meant we slept like logs! We appreciated the homemade brownies as a welcome and the notes were helpful. Thank you, Julie.

Absolutely perfect place to relax with everything you could need on hand in the cottage. Amazing shower in the bathroom! Ideal spot to visit Ironbridge and the surrounding area. Go to Surees for great Thai food. We will definitely be back as there is so much more for us to explore, thank you😍

Absolutely wonderful host with an immaculate well positioned air bnb. Excellent communication and a truly lovely personal welcome. Cot, highchair and duplo building blocks went down incredibly well with my children and made the stay so much easier. Beautiful location with so much to do for all ages.

This small but perfectly formed house is ideally located in the centre of Ironbridge with all the main sites and museums within walking distance. The house is well designed to maximise space and was spotlessly clean and well equipped. I can thoroughly recommend it. I imagine that, in summer, the private balcony and shared garden would enhance the property even further.

We had a great stay. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Located in a small quiet village but a quick drive to village amenities. Close to local attractions such as RAF Cosford Museum and Ironbridge. Would highly recommended Williams place.

Just got back from an amazing 2 night stay. A friendly welcome and upon entering the property, looked just like the photos. Lovely, clean and modern interior. Peaceful location, we loved our daily visit from the cute little doggo. Nice, bright and spacious inside. In fact our baby took his first steps here, such a magical moment. Very helpful hosts and fast response. Lots of things to do around the surrounding areas. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future.
