Absolutely perfect venue for a large group of people. Plenty of beds and fantastic social spaces. Loads of facilities and a lovely view. The property is very private and a short 15 walk into the village with some lovely pubs. Margaret was very proactive and made sure our stay was perfect.

Amazing stay. The hot tub is perfect very clean, warm and easy to use. The home itself is lovely, very comfy bed and nice decor. Lots of leaflets and information for the surrounding areas. Couldn’t recommend more.

We found the Lodge cottage to be ideal for our holiday. It was a peaceful location with great views from upstairs windows. the cottage was spotless when we arrived and very well equipped. it was nice to find tea and coffee and ample towels supplied. the hot tub was a treat a couple of times during our stay. Other nice touches were the books and games, and the basket of leaflets to suggest places to visit. We would highly recommend this for any family to stay in.

We had a truly wonderful week at Sorrel House. A perfect house for family celebrations. We were celebrating two birthdays and we could bring all our friends and family together over the course of the week. Viki and Kevin are great hosts, very friendly and responsive. The house itself is srunning and beautifully and tastefully decorated with each bedroom having its own individual style. The beds are the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The linen was 100% cotton and felt luxurious. The house was spotless and had everything you could need. Viki and Kevin cooked us a delicious meal one evening. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The pool table was a bonus and was well used and having your own bar was a real novelty. You really do feel like you are staying in your very own hotel. Beautiful walks right outside your door and very dog friendly. All the big stores if you need them only 10 minute drive away. The hot tub was a nice addition too! We hope to return in the future

Both myself and my partner had a lovely stay we couldn't of picked a better place to stay, the accommodation was spotless, the hot tub was lovely and the overall stay was perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone that wishes for a nice relaxing time away, we will definetly be stopping again in the very near future. Thanks Nigel & Debs for such a welcoming stay.

Absolutely fantastic home and amazing hosts! The house is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you could ever need with such stunning surroundings! The hosts were brilliant, always responsive and happy to help! They gave fantastic recommendations for places to go locally and we're just all round perfect! The whole experience felt super easy and laid back and overall just the most amazing place to get some peace and quiet in the countryside! If Air B&B would let me give higher than 5* I would! 1000/10 will be coming back. Perfect experience all round!

This was a lovely place to stay that felt like home. It's a beautifully decorated and well-equipped space in a quiet spot.

Wow! What a fabulous, totally relaxing weekend in the most beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We (and our 2 miniature Dachshund) just loved that as soon as you stepped of the front door, there was so much garden, woods, lake and fields to explore. And don't forget the peacocks, Roger and Kevin, adding that magical touch passing right by the front of the cottage. Jean was so lovely too. We absolutely would love to return xx

A lovely and authentic stone cottage within a few minutes walk from town. Has all you need for a visit to Kington and Offa’s Dyke. Great communication from Judith. Would recommend

Initially intrigued by the photo of the exterior, totally fascinated on arrival, amazed once inside. As barn conversions go, this was top of the range, from design to finish. The interior was way beyond expectation, downstairs , a dining area leading to a spacious, well lit & comfortable lounge/tv area with double glazed doors opening onto a small lawn. A good sized, fully equipped kitchen made light of our catering needs. Upstairs was incredible, and needs to be seen to be believed. We loved it ! For us it was a huge area divided in three open plan areas , 2 bedrooms, and a reading & dressing area. For others it occasionally converts to something very special, but that's not for me to explain. Our lttle dog loved the large, private & secure lawned garden area at the rear, plenty of seating for relaxation. AS YOU MAY GATHER WE LOVED IT !! Thank you Elaine.

This little oasis is as far as it can be from the hustle & bustle of modern life, being at the end a farm track, surrounded by open countryside. It is rare to find somewhere where there is no road noise - just the sound of silence - and the farm animals of course. You are still close to good local facilities & great places to eat. Our stay at the pool house was great. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful and clearly look after the place very well. The house itself is lovely: clean, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything you need for a holiday. It's also very private, being away from the main residence and surrounded by peaceful greenery with a wrap-around garden. The outside space is very relaxing, with several dining areas and roaming space, and it's also secure for dogs. The pool is fantastic and definitely the main attraction in good weather; it's clean, large enough for several people, a good depth for swimming but most adults can also safely stand, self-enclosed for extra safety, and just as private as the rest of the place. If you can pry yourself away from the water, there's also lovely country walks and farms in the surrounding area, and amenities are a short drive away. We definitely plan on visiting again.

We had a one night stay at the farm the location was great and the place was very clean & tidy we had everything there need . The swimming pool was also great too. We would 100% go there again.

The retreat is in a beautiful location , surrounded by hills, countryside and lovely walks. The property was beautifully clean and welcoming and the swimming pool is an amazing facility. Everything was perfect , and we will definitely be back.

We loved our stay - everything was as described and the host was clear in all communications. The place was spotless, and seemed bigger than the pictures. We hope to return again in the future

We really enjoyed our stay. The open plan upstairs is really comfortable and the main bedroom is spacious and luxurious with the en suite and slipper bath. Hidden downstairs is the unassuming door to the pool! Such a treat to be able to swim before breakfast and before and after dinner. Pool was a great temperature for swimming and the room is warm too. Katherine was friendly and there if we needed. The rural setting is great to wake up to bird song and farm fields. Shrewsbury is just down the road and this was a great base for going there but being completely out of the bustle of the town in the evenings. Overall peaceful with a splash of luxury.

We had a wonderful weekend. Richard was a considerate host and very flexible when we were running late for check-in. The house and surrounding countryside were both beautiful and the pool was fantastic. We were a group of 4 couples, 4 infants, a toddler and a dog, so it could have been chaos. However, the whole stay was very easy and stress-free as all needs were met. The check-in was very thorough so we understood the quirks of the building. We would definitely stay again. Fantastic couple of nights for a birthday relaxing treat. Great to be able to book the spa and pool for 2 hours a day to have all to ourselves. Recommend the various treatments by Wida as well.
