Cabin holiday rentals in Island County

We really enjoyed this little Airbnb on the water, it’s right in the middle of town and so much fun to walk around and check out la Conner!

We really enjoyed our time and knew the location was not right in town, but it is close to Coupeville where there is some incredible food options. Unfortunately we did not have the best weather so could not enjoy the outdoors other than the hot tub. This would be an incredible place to be in nice weather as there are lots of places around the house to be so you could choose the sunny or shady side. We could only enjoy the wet side while we were there, but still get out for some hikes. The wild rhododendrons were in full glory. And it was not so wet that we were bothered by the few rain squalls while we did Ebey's Landing which is a beautiful area. Very peaceful and fun to watch the deer enjoy the yard and lilacs. Fortunately they could only eat up so far so we got to enjoy the flowers too. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked with spices and cookware, etc.

Charming, cozy place. Quiet location. Very private for how close the barn is to the main house. The kitchen/main living area faces a private wooded space and looks out over the hot tub, which also faces the woods without visibility of the main house. A lot of thought went into the design and decor. Very comfortable bed in the upstairs loft. Nice appliances, well-equipped. Perfect size for a couple. Great mid-island location. Would stay here again.

We Loved our stay at The Cabin. It is perfectly located with a beautiful view and only a few minutes from Oak harbor and grocery stores and restaurants as well as beach access. The space is well stocked and clean and cozy. For us this was the perfect place to relax during our visit to the island to see family and friends. We look forward to staying here again next time we are in town! Highly recommend!

Fox Paws Cabin was so clean, and every person in our party commented on it. The house itself is open and inviting, and the location is just a short walk to the beach, which is perfect for a sunset walk. We used the house for a few moms (local to the area) to get away for a weekend to rest and read. It was the perfect location with quiet space for each of us to settle in with a book, but also open enough for all of us to gather around the table for mealtimes—and in the hot tub at night. The A-frame house is open with a huge wall of windows that doesn't get direct sunlight, so even in the heat of a hot summer afternoon, the house was a very comfortable temperature. We loved our stay, and will be booking here again next summer for a reading retreat!

Very comfortable place in a serene setting. Loved the fireplace and hot tub, perfect for relaxing and retreating from the daily grind. This place makes it easy to settle into a slower rhythm. It's also just a few minutes drive to Langley, a quaint little town worth exploring. I loved my stay and would highly recommend booking Rhythm Waters.

Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beach. I saw whales, dolphins and seals out on my paddle board. Incredible sunrise right out your front window. You will love it here, bless you Nikki!

We loved staying at Mary's quiet cabin near Langley. The place was lovely and clean and exactly what we needed for a quick getaway.

absolutely gorgeous cabin. amazing views and private access to the water was incredible. my girlfriend and I spent our 1 year anniversary here and it couldn't have been better.

Our trip to Whidbey to stay at Tasha’s has become an annual event for us. We always look forward to the welcoming home, cool sea breeze and crashing waves. This time was no different and we loved every bit of our stay here. Tasha is an amazing host and extremely proactive. She arranged for me to pick up my purse that I had left behind at the property! Thank you, Tasha! We will be back!

The cabin is incredibly charming. Not huge but it has everything you need and we loved our stay. We are already talking about coming back. I feel lucky to have found it!

Cozy, pleasantly rustic, not tourist-beach-kitsch cabin right on the beach, adjacent to a dog park. Minimalistic, but totally comfy, furnishings in the four rooms. Perfect size for a small family to gather and cook and play games inside, or beach comb just 25-50 yards out the back door. Our kids (12 & 9) and the dog spent hours exploring tide pools, building forts, digging up hunks of clay to make “dolls” out of, and they even tried to swim in between rain showers. From the living area, we watched a bald eagle soar overhead a blue heron while gulls dove headfirst for fish and robins pecked at worms in the yard. Two lil things to consider if staying: 1) if morning light bothers you, bring an eye mask; 2) the path from the back door to the beach requires some careful footwork to traverse an area of accumulated drift wood logs, but the parking lot is right next to the home with a clear, flat way to access the beach if mobility is a challenge.

This was such a beautiful property - the staff encouraged us to to explore and gave us awesome info about the history of the barn and property. They were so welcoming, but also gave us plenty of space and privacy. The goats and cats wandering around were so cute. There were some pretty trails in the woods with beautiful wildflowers and salmonberries ripening. We would absolutely return - it was the perfect mix of peaceful, private, and accessible.

This was a lovely beachfront house in a peaceful and quiet area! A short drive to town or lots of beach to roam! Sara was a wonderful host and was very communicative. Perfect spot for a couples getaway!

It is such a cozy place to get away and recharge. We visited during rainy winter season but still able to enjoy the sauna and the fire pit. I love the privacy and the quietness. Picture a mountain cabin except it’s in an island!

Wow—this cabin was even better in person! Tucked away in the woods, it was the perfect cozy and private getaway. The space felt peaceful and inviting from the moment we arrived. Hot water was always available, everything was clean and well-kept, and the atmosphere was just magical. We loved waking up to the sound of nature, with hummingbirds flying nearby and deers (with their babies!) walking through the yard. It truly felt like a hidden gem in the forest. What a beautiful, relaxing, and memorable stay. Highly recommend this spot—we’d come back in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed the breathtaking views. Julie and Peter have a wonderful vacation spot with everything we needed. Such a thrill watching and listening to the waves crashing into the shoreline. We would highly recommend their clean and comfortable home, and hope to visit again someday!

Clean house, lots of little amenities on site and responsive communication. Did not realize it was more of a neighborhood setting than cabin feel.

Such a perfect location with gorgeous views ... and a beautifully decorated, relaxing home. So many options for great public beaches and nearby hikes as well as nearby excellent restaurants. The home has been so well cared for and has absolutely everything you need. The location and home were both amazingly peaceful. Loved our time there!

I rented Heartsease for some out-of-town performers who were doing at show at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts. They fell in love with the cabin as soon as they saw it. It was just a few minutes from the theater and downtown Langley and set in a beautiful wooded setting. The decor was log-cabin charming, the beds were comfortable, and everything was spotless. I'll definitely book Heartsease again for my next set of out-of-town guests!

We loved our time at Jimmy’s. We were looking for a place to unplug and relax for a couple of days and couldn’t have asked for anything better. The house was beautiful and right on the lake- what more could you ask for?! We spent most of the time on the dock fishing and caught a lot of trout. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the house is stocked with games and puzzles. Wish our stay didn’t have to end. Highly recommend 🫶

I grew up at the beach in So California, loved it, miss it. This cozy little beach house is just the perfect beach house! Charming, rustic, clean, breezy, comfy, private and peaceful. The only thing missing was the sound of waves crashing on the sand. And that’s ok. We walked every day along the beach while our dogs ran up and back and played. Such a relaxing visit. Our only outing in four days was a quick run to the nearby market. Kitchen is great - stove, oven and microwave were clean and easy to use. AC unit easy to use and big fan in first bedroom. Opening the front and back door allowed the breeze to come through and kept us comfortable. First bedroom bed amazingly comfortable (we didn’t need other bedroom). We highly recommend this little place for your getaway, and if you write a note in the guest book please see my note and change 5/6/25 to 6/6/25 - I was too relaxed and forgot the month!
