Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Islantilla

Just loved Sandra’s place. So peaceful and we felt right at home among the lemon trees. The bed was comfortable and the cooking facilities were perfect. You can walk to the little supermarket in about 10 minutes down a track which was perfect to collect fresh bread in the morning and give our little dog a walk off lead. Sandra and Miguel were always responsive to any questions we had. Tavira is about an 8 minute drive away and there’s a large free car park just over the bridge. It’s worth visiting Santa Luzia too which is about 18 minutes by car and also there’s lovely beaches in the opposite direction. The Quinta has a soul if its own - so enjoyed my morning yoga practise. A wonderful place to stay. ❤️❤️

Já é a segunda vez que ficamos nesta casa, é mesmo muito gira, confortável e funcional. Óptimas de zonas exteriores de estadia, ideais para se estar e aproveitar a vida ao ar livre, zona da piscina super simpática. Localização ideal. O Frederico foi um anfitrião muito prestável e cuidadoso. Para o ano vamos voltar, sem dúvida!

Fabulous in all respects: Carla, (her communications, help, humour and charm), the Villa, (comfort, facilities and cleanliness), the area, (quiet, peaceful, relaxing and an easy walk into town) and Tavira, (restaurants, bars, the boat trip to the island and chilled atmosphere). We’ll be back!

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es liegt direkt an dem Naturschutzgebiet und kann von der Terrasse aus Vögel und Boote beobachten. auch der Garten war perfekt, gerade mit zwei Kindern. Toll fanden wir auch die Möglichkeit, die Boote und Fahrräder zu benutzen. Uns wurde sogar ein Fahrradsitz für Kinder zur Verfügung gestellt. Leider haben wir das Angebot dann doch nicht so genutzt. Aber wir kommen gerne wieder. Im Haus ist viel Platz und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Schön war auch, mit dem Solarboot zum Strand auf die Lagune zu fahren. Das einzige, was uns etwas gestört hat, ist, dass das Haus etwas hellhörig ist und die Nachbarn andere Schlafens- und Wachzeiten hatten. Hat uns aber auch nur gestört wegen den Kindern. Ansonsten hatten wir hier einen wunderschönen Urlaub und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

We hebben genoten van ons korte verblijf in Casa Boa Vista. Het weer was voor februari geweldig, dus we hebben zelfs gebruik kunnen maken van het zwembad. De prachtige uitzichten doen de naam van het huis zeker eer aan! De communicatie met Gabriele en de beheerders verliep vlekkeloos. Zeer vriendelijk en altijd bereikbaar. Dank je wel dat we in jouw mooie huis mochten verblijven Gabriele. We hopen er in de toekomst graag nog eens terug te keren.

A casa da Maria Teresa correspondeu às expectativas: super bonita e bem conservada, numa zona muito sossegada, perto de tudo a pé e com tudo o que precisávamos. O terraço é excelente para umas refeições no exterior. Ficamos todas muito satisfeitas com a nossa estadia e com pena de não ficar mais dias :)

Just wow! Rita met us to check us in and contacted us several times to make sure all was well. Any little issues were addressed right away, kindly and professionally. The little house was clean and cozy with great patio to enjoy a glass of wine with a view to the distant sea. We loved everything and Rita is wonderful!!!! Can’t recommend highly enough. Hope to return!

Hemos pasado unos días muy a gusto en la casa de Ana. Los perros han estado encantados. Estaba todo muy limpio y la casa está muy cerca de la playa y de muchos sitios de interés. y Ana y su hermana encantadoras. 😀

Merci pour l’accueil et le chauffage d’appoint tres utile. L’accueil était chaleureux et adapté.

The place is ideally located with a short walk to the old town and river. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again and get to stay in this beautiful little house.

Wir hatten als dreiköpfige Familie eine sehr schöne Woche in Casa Regina, Wohnung 2. Wir konnten auf der großen Terrasse angenehm sitzen. Die Küche war mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Pool und Garten konnten wir schön nutzen. Waschmaschine super. Andrew und seine Mutter Lurdes waren sehr reaktionsschnell und kommunikativ. Bei Problemen mit der Dusche wurde schnell reagiert und es gab als kleine Entschädigung Kekse und Wein. Bei der Buchung weist Andrew auch darauf hin, dass es eine ruhige Wohneinheit ist. Es ist tatsächlich wichtig, dies zu berücksichtigen, da die Wohnungen recht eng aneinander liegen. Wohnung 3 grenzt an das große Schlafzimmer an und je nach Nachbarn kann es auch etwas hellhörig sein. Man hört auch immer mal die Straße, nachts ist es jedoch relativ ruhig und auch am Pool ist es idyllisch. Es ist noch zu erwähnen, dass der Eingang von Wohnung 1 auf die Terrasse von Wohnung 2 führt. Wir hatten sehr nette Nachbarn, so dass es für uns nicht weiter störend war.

In our travels through Portugal, this was absolutely the best place we stayed. Marcio’s place is very spacious, very clean, and has the feeling of being in a real home. There is a large outdoor patio where we enjoyed hanging out. And even though we were in a central location, the apartment was peaceful and quiet. Marcio was very easy to communicate with, and even when we locked ourselves out of the apartment, he was extremely kind and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough. It was fabulous!!

O espaço é muito bonito e tranquilo tem um pôr do sol maravilhoso é um pouco afastado do centro mas de carro é próximo tem todas as comodidades fomos muito bem recebidos pelo Carlos e a sua família e sempre que solicitamos alguma ajuda ou dica rapidamente nos respondeu. Espaço óptimo para descansar com a família,adoramos e recomendamos.

A casa está muito bem localizada, perto da marginal e dos barcos, mas num local muito sossegado. A casa estava bastante limpa e com todas as comodidades..

Great stay! The apartment is very clean and well-organized and located near supermarket. The host was incredibly kind and always available to help. Highly recommended!

Lovely area. The board walk is stunning. Local restaurants and bars. All reasonable and typically Portuguese. Indoor swimming on the complex was perfect. Wonderful weather.The free boat ( just 3 minutes) to a stunning long private beach really was the icing on the cake. Pedro helpful and replied promptly to texts. We used bikes free of charge. We had a brilliant 9-day stay at Tamsin’s house. The villa couldn’t have been better situated, being a 2-min walk from town and within easy reach of local towns / beaches and shops. The house itself was large and well equipped, with a big swimming pool and living area. We travelled with 2 young children and the house was perfect, with stair-gates, toys and a comfortable travel cot and high chair. Tamsin was also very responsive snd accommodated an early check in and late departure. We would highly recommend.

Amazing experience in this villa. The Host was exceptional always there to respond and take care of things and it shows that he cares about the place. I would recommend this to anyone. Place was clean and cozy. In a very private development. If I ever get a chance will book it again. I already forwarded to few friends in London to have that experience. Thanks Mr Helder. Wir hatten in Altura einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das Haus war geräumig und passend eingerichtet. Für die Kinder war der Pool das Highlight. Karine hat uns immer sehr rasch und freundlich geantwortet. Nachdem ein Sturm einen Sonnenschirm zerfetzt hat, gab es gleich Ersatz.

Casa com 1 quarto no R/CH e 2 quartos no 1. andar, tranquila, perto de restaurantes e da praia. A casa tinha todos os utensílios e comodidades necessárias para uma estadia agradável e tranquila. O anfitrião foi muito prestável, e providenciou todas as informações necessárias ao funcionamento da casa e dicas para restaurantes e locais para visitar. A piscina é ótima.

Alojamiento muy agradable. Corresponde a la descripción. Lugar tranquilo, con preciosas vistas. La casa está bien equipada y los anfitriones son personas muy agradables y atentas para ofrecer un buen servicio y responder a cualquier necesidad o pregunta de los huéspedes.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was better than the photos and in particular seemed more spacious. It had everything we needed for a great family holiday with two small children (2+6). The use of a very well equipped kitchen and washing machine was particularly helpful. The shutters ensured that the children slept well at night as they blocked out most of the light. There was a heatwave during our stay and no air con in the children's bedroom and as such moved our youngest's cot into the living area, which worked better. The air con there and in the main bedroom was great however. The location was very peaceful, up on the hill above tavira. We often had the pool to ourselves and had no issues with noise from neighbours. We didn't hire a car, despite the advice of the owner. We found it manageable with the help of a pram and toddler carrier. The walk into town being 20 minutes and the trip to the bus and train station not much further. The host was really responsive.

Prachtige locatie midden in de natuur met geweldige uitzichten, zeker bij zonsop- en ondergang! Huis van alle gemakken voor zien met heerlijk zwembad. Let er wel op dat je de juiste weg naar het huis toeneemt! Met de gekregen coördinaten gaf Google maps de weg vanuit het oosten aan, die weg is echter zeer smal en slecht begaanbaar (waardoor helaas schade aan de auto). Je moet vanaf westelijke richting naar het huis rijden, wat betekent dat je bij het bruggetje direct rechtsaf moet ipv rechtdoor. Maar niet afschrikken door dit bericht, want het huis is geweldig.

Great house located within walking distance to the beach and local restaurants. Air conditioning in every room, fully equipped kitchen and 3 toilets each with a shower/bath. Owner answers questions very quickly and was very welcoming. Very quiet area with plenty of parking right next to the house. Recommend for anyone visiting Altura, will definitely rent again in the future.
