The village of Saint Jean Pied de Port is fabulous and the surroundings are magnificent: peace, greenery, civilization. Hervé's house is at a beautiful and quiet end of town. Hervé offers an apartment that is on the first floor of his own house, but with independent access. Very comfortable and clean. Hervé is a magnificent person and has behaved excellently with us. We had a great, unforgettable time. Highly recommended for couples on a romantic getaway but also for families.

We had a lovely stay in St Jean before setting out on the Camino. The location couldn’t be better. Just steps away from the pilgrim’s office and a short walk to the start of the Camino. Celine was helpful and responsive and the apartment is in a gorgeous old building in the middle of town. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer to explore St. Jean more and go on walks in the area!

We had a great time in Avignon! Maialen is very welcoming, very friendly and communication is very easy. She gave us good advice for our activities in the region and taught us about the Basque culture that she knows so well! The accommodation is very cozy, perfectly clean and very functional. There is everything you need to cook! The location is quiet, with a very nice view of the surroundings and 15 min walk from the center of Saint-Jean-Pied-De-Port.

The hosts are very welcoming and available while remaining discreet. The accommodation is as described, clean, functional and well-equipped. It stays cool despite the high temperatures, which is much appreciated. The beautiful garden and surrounding landscape are a real plus! It's quiet while being close to shops and multiple places to discover! A great week at Guillaume and Gracie's!

We loved the stay at Jean's, the welcome was very nice, with gifts of a just magical Basque cake and a jam from the region, it really touched us. The host is attentive, adorable and helpful (Thank you very much Michelle). We'll be back as soon as possible, I would highly recommend it.
