Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Istanbul

The place is very tidy and clean—qualities that are of the utmost importance to me. The hosts Emir and Yasemin are really quick to help whenever you need assistance, and they’re super friendly, often greeting you on your way out of the building if they’re around. The apartment is exactly as advertised in the pictures—modern and cozy. The location is excellent in that access to metro and buses is only a 5-10 minute walk away. Additionally, there are nice cafes right nearby where you can work on your laptop or read a book; check out MOC cafe—nice vibes. Overall, a very comfortable and memorable experience—thank you!

The place was very pretty! There is always someone in the reception to keep everything safe. Everything was in walking distance! The appartment was clean, there were some card gaemes, a TV. Everything you need for a city trip! It was a lovely stay and the host was so nice and friendly, always there to help! Would definitely recommend when visiting Istanbul!

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment! The location is excellent — just a 5 to 7 minute walk to Taksim Square, which makes it easy to access the metro and bus system. From Taksim, you can take the funicular down to Kabataş and hop on the T1 tram (at Kabatas) to reach key tourist sites like the Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Gulhane Park. You can also take a ferry to the Asian side (Üsküdar and Kadikoy) from Kabatas. The apartment itself was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were kind, responsive, and great with communication. Overall, a convenient and pleasant place to stay — we would definitely recommend it!

FANTASTIC APARTMENT WITH HIGH CEILING AMAZING HOST !!! House owner BURAK is the most interesting person I ever met . He never sleeps, all the time avaliable to help you. He has a market in the building you can find everything. Also he has MANY apartments in the same building . All of them are well furnished and amazing . Smells good . I love the bed so much it’s very comfy. Burak’s apartments are really very well designed he is taking very well care of the apartment and with us 🙏thank you burak , thank you man . More than apartments Burak make the holiday much better for us . I feel I know him for 20 years but actually just met him a few days ago 😅 he gives very good energy and when we chat with him we had too much fun . He is super funny . When you see him somewhere in the building you feel you’re safe , you feel somebody is boss here and he makes the people feel that control is in hands . We stayed for a month and loved the location—2 blocks from Istiklal and Cihangir’s cafes, 10-min walk to Taksim, Şişhane, or Tophane metros. Large apartment, just as pictured. Note: elevator stops between floors, so you’ll need to walk a few steps. No oven (listing should note that), but the small air fryer works well. Microwave was “being repaired” but never returned—not really missed. The bed was comfortable for my husband, but I found it tough to get cozy sleeping on my side. A/C in the living room cools the space great. Bedroom has a floor fan—pretty loud, but it works. I sleep hot and had to run it on high. Ahmed and Gogo were excellent hosts—fast responses via Airbnb app. We’d definitely stay again!

Absolutely stunning apartment. Exactly like the photos. We had to book last minute as our reserved accommodation let us down and Edis was so helpful and responsive! It was a huge relief to find somewhere so comfortable. Lovely to come back to at the end of a busy day sightseeing. Would definitely recommend!

An accommodation that deserves 5 stars in every aspect...

Hamdi is the best host I've ever seen, with his sincerity and interest. He took care of us immediately when we had the slightest problem or needed something. He did his best to make us enjoy the holiday. The house has everything you're looking for. It is comfortable and has a very good privacy. The balcony and the view are more beautiful than the photos. I definitely recommend this place to those who will have a holiday in Heybeliada. Get a rez without thinking.

6 stars out of 5:) The apartment is very tastefully furnished, has character with sweet details and meets all needs, you don't want to leave the house. The balcony and the view are amazing. Burcu is a very warm person and a good host. Cat Luna is a delight:)) The location is very central, so there was a little street noise during the holiday, but it didn't bother me:) Very close to many cafes, restaurants and markets, a big advantage. Heybeli may be the best! I plan to come again🫶🌸

We had a fantastic stay at Azad’s place! The unit was spacious and comfortable for 4 adults and 4 small children. The location was perfect — a short walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, and a great park with a playground. There were also plenty of nearby restaurants and small shops for essentials. Azad was an exceptional host, arranging airport transport, meeting us late at night to show us the unit, checking in daily, and even providing thoughtful touches like a prayer rug and chocolates. One thing to note: the stairs inside and outside the unit are quite steep, which may be difficult for those with mobility issues. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

This was a very good trip Much better than my last trip to turkey thanks to the house, the house was very clean and exactly like the pictures, everything was as described and the owner was very good at communicating with me and checking up on things.

It was EXTRAORDINARY. I think it's one of the best apartments I've rented in Istanbul. The breathtaking view of the islands. The cleanliness of the place, the access to the metro and the shopping centers very fast. I highly recommend this apartment, Mehmet was very responsive, very professional and really very kind.
