Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Ithaki

It was our first visit to the island and we explored a lot! We are so happy we chose this home. It was exactly as described. The views were wonderful. We enjoyed the patio each morning and night. It was very peaceful. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable in our travels between 3 rentals, We were fortunate that grapefruit and lemons were in season. What a treat those gifts were. I prepared dinner on our last night and all I needed was available and clean! The home was co clean. It was such a please to speak often with this couple. I’ll de dreaming of our stay.

What a stay we had!! It's been two weeks since we returned back, but I keep thinking of this place everyday and want to come back. I think we've never been treated so well and the owners did their best to welcome us. Once we arrived and were introduced to the apartment, we realised that this was exactly the apartment we were looking for. For a family of three people, we had everything needed for a week stay. The fridge was filled with a variety of local treats including beer. On the next day, the owner brought us a bag of pastries which was so kind and suggested he could with placing a reservation in the nearby restaurant - Pavlos taverna. It is a known place in Lefkada for its fantastic meat dishes and its always packed in the evenings. We celebrated my wife's birthday in there and without a doubt I could tell it was one of the best meals we ever had in a long time.I can overall highly recommend this place! Special thanks to the owners - wish you a good health and keep up what you do!

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage in unserer Unterkunft auf Lefkada. Der Eigentümer war sehr gastfreundlich und hat sich toll um uns gekümmert. Seine Mutter, eine ältere Frau, war ebenfalls sehr kontaktfreudig und nett. Sie hat uns sogar ein paar Blümchen geschenkt. Da hätte man gerne doch ein bisschen griechisch gekonnt:)

An absolute gem of a place. Emma and her mother made our stay simply perfect by providing everything we could have asked for and more. The spacious and comfy house was easy to find and super clean, offering every comfort needed. It offers a lot of privacy and quiet, along with incredible views of the surrounding sea and mountains (the visiting cats were a big plus!). It's location also makes it easy to get to one of the beautiful beaches or a great place to eat after only a short drive. We had an amazing time here and can't wait for a chance to return. Thank you for having us! =D

U prekrasan godišnji odmor savršeno se uklopio smještaj kod Basilisa! Velik i dobro opremljen apartman u mirnom selu Dragano. Basilisa nismo upoznali, kontaktirali smo preko mobitela, ali sve je bilo u najboljem redu. Nove ručnike i posteljinu nam je donio njegov otac, koji po potrebi obavlja i popravke u apartmanu. Kreveti su veliki i udobni za spavanje. Kuhinja je dobro opremljena, moguće je i kuhati. I nakon vrućih lipanjskih dana u kući nije bilo prevruće i moglo se spavati bez korištenja klime. Posebno smo uživali u doručcima uz zuj pčela i predivne mirise cvijeća. Parkirno mjesto osigurano je iza kuće, u hladovini. Cijeli je otok vrlo brdovit, pa je i ova kuća smještena tako da zbog nizbrdice parkiranje na prvu izgleda problematično, ali se u stvari vrlo jednostavno parkira bočno i unatraške. Ima maksimalno 30 minuta vožnje do najdivnijih i najslikovitijih plaža na Lefkadi, od Kathisme na sjeveru do Porto Katsiki na jugu. Vrlo rado ćemo se opet vratiti!!!

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und außerhalb des Ortes. Der Blick über Pool und Meer ist einmalig und entspannend. Myrto gibt viele schöne und hilfreiche Tipps für die Gegend, Einkauf und Restaurants. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation hat toll funktioniert. Ganz lieben Dank dafür.

WOW! This Villa was insane, unimaginably beautiful, the views are unparalleled. We all had the best time, such a relaxing and peaceful place. The pool is a great size, cold as we were out if season but still great! We couldn't fault the villa at all, it had everything we needed! What absolutely made our stay was our host, Spiros, he was simply the best. Very friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely cared about us having a great time. He recommended the best places to see, things to do and locations to eat. Nothing was too much trouble for him when we made requests and we liked him so much, we invited him to have a drink at a local bar with her (he recommend the place and it was fantastic) he was a great laugh, he is an absolute credit to Diodati Villas! The villa is enough to make us want to return but Spiros has made us all start thinking about when we can return. Thank you for making our holiday so magical, especially because my wife & I were celebrating our 3 year wedding anniversary

Villa Amoudia was perfect for our needs. The Villa was exactly as described in the photos and details, and the location was ideal; close to village, great views and peaceful. The host Barbara was very friendly and responsive. We are thinking of returning!

We had a wonderful week in George's villa, starting with a warm welcome from his lovely mum who showed us around. We were then left in peace for the rest of the trip, although George always responded quickly when we sent him questions. The villa is even nicer than the pictures, great AC and plenty of towels. It is atop a hill, with no other villas or roads close by, so you're not overlooked and the view is breathtaking. We didn't hear traffic noise or even dogs barking at night, you feel tucked away in your own private space. The pool is perfect, and stays really clean thanks to the infinity design. The loungers are comfy with the grapevine shade. We used the outdoor BBQ and sat out on the terrace every day, though if you're eating outside you will attract some flies. The location is rural, so there were lots of bugs outside and occasionally inside - not a problem, but something to be aware of and bring insect repellent! There are screens on doors and windows to keep them out.

The hosts were so lovely and helpful. They very kindly gave us a welcome hamper of food for our first morning and gave us early check-in and late check-out. They even gave us a hamper with nappies and some supplies for the baby which was so kind and thoughtful. The villa is beautiful, clean and is even nicer than the photos can show. We hired a car as there isn't a huge amount in the immediate area but it's so peaceful and it's really easy to get taxi's if you don't have a car. We will definitely book again on our next visit to Kefalonia. Thank you again x

Wow! This place is truly magical. Breathtaking views, a gorgeous pool terrace, spacious & comfortable interiors- All located in a beautiful village in the hills, conveniently located 10 mins drive from stunning beaches. Athina was so helpful with local knowledge & places to see, we had a superb time as a family of 8. She left a welcome pack of local fruit & veg aswell as honey, jam & wine, cheeses & butter. We felt so welcome and at home. There’s a mini market 5 mins walk away with all the basics & larger shops in small towns in 15 mins drive. Delicious & friendly restaurants & tavernas within 15 mins. The area is easy to drive around. Top 3 hot spots: Vouti beach/ Taverna, Assos & Fteri beach on the water taxi. My 10 year old loved feeding the village cats & seeing the goats walk past with their bells. Great places to swim, snorkel & jump off rocks - The water is the most turquoise I have ever seen! Forever memories made. This house, Kefalonia & Nifi has stolen our hearts.

We really enjoyed our stay at the bungalow, it was in a good location within walking distance of a supermarket and restaurants at Porto harbour. The house had everything we needed and the pool was a great addition as it was very hot! We hired a boat from George which was a fabulous day. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay with our two children. The house is perfect with so many amenities. All the appliances are high quality and basically brand new! We had everything we needed and more. The pool and bbq area is fantastic. The views beautiful. Location is private but easy to get to other locations. We loved visiting Sami and the Melissani Cave’s not to be missed. The host went above and beyond, always responsive and kind. We highly recommend the house and have already told family and friends about it!

Lovely villa with super patio space, and nice to be so close to a few restaurants in the village. We had a great time.

Wow! This villa is beautiful and perfect for our family of 8. Ben and Claire couldn't help us enough and responded to us quickly if needed. We were lucky enough to stay for 10 days, half of which were spent chilling at the villa, playing in the pool and using the amazing facilities . Although a rental car is helpful getting around the island, there is a lot of lovely restaurants, bars and beaches a short drive away. We explored around the island, including Fiskardo and Antisamos, which are breathtaking. Thank you for having us, we'd be back in1 a heart beat!

We had a wonderful stay celebrating our anniversary and babymoon at the Windmill! Our hosts were so friendly and helpful and the place was impeccable and so thoughtfully restored from an active windmill into a lovely place to stay with beautiful 360 sunrise and nighttime views. Worth noting that a rental car was helpful for taking full advantage of the area and island, and that the bedroom is on the third floor while the bathroom is on the first floor so that's good to be aware of when booking! The outdoor kitchen was so special and had everything we needed to make lovely breakfasts and lunches in the space and we adventured out to some recommended restaurants for dinner. Gorgeous natural flowers everywhere and very romantic! Even better than the photos. We'd particularly recommend sunset dinner at the Porto Schiza restaurant and visiting Elies for olive oil tasting!

Marianna and her mom Soula are truly amazing people—so kind, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and well taken care of. We absolutely loved the cozy place—it was charming, comfortable, and had everything we needed. And the location couldn’t have been better—just a 2-minute walk to one of the best beaches we’ve ever been to! We’re so grateful to Marianna and Soula for sharing their beautiful home with us. It was such a special stay, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone. We can’t wait to come back again soon!

Maria was bijzonder aardig. Het appartement is heel comfortabel. Je moet wel trappen lopen (70 treden of 99) om bij de zee, de restaurants de supermarkten en de bakker te komen. Voor ons (nog) geen bezwaar.

Wir hatten eine wunderbar ruhige und erholsame Woche in der Vorsaison, inmitten einer traumhaften landschaftlichen Umgebung und Kulisse. Etliche Locations waren noch geschlossen - umso mehr haben wir die gastfreundliche lokale griechische Küche genossen! Dier Kontakt zu Evi war sehr unkompliziert und freundlich und ihre digitalen Tips waren sehr hilfreich. Wir können uns eine Rückkehr sehr gut vorstellen!

I read a previous review that mentioned the word soul and indeed this place has soul. It is an old family holiday home built in the sixties on a large parcel of land right on the water surrounded by shade giving trees. Down a few steps to a private swimming spot is perfect. If you want a modern facility forget it but if you’re after an authentic, private and relaxing place this is it, an oasis away from the chaos of Nydri and surrounds. We enjoyed a week here and didn’t want to leave. The well appointed kitchen meant we could cook for ourselves each day. We left relaxed and refreshed. Caterina is an excellent host, very helpful and communicative. Many thanks.

A magical home in a wonderful location. My first trip to both this home and island. Will definitely be back. Also, Klara is an amazing artist with a phenomenal body of work. A must see.

Wir haben zu acht inklusive Kleinkind eine Woche in Marilenas Haus verbracht und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt genug Platz, um gemeinsam entspannt Zeit zu verbringen oder um sich mal zurück zu ziehen. Der Außenbereich ist schön gestaltet und es gibt einen Pizzaofen, in dem wir großartige Pizza gebacken haben. Wir haben von Marilena und ihrer Familie einige Tips für Unternehmungen bekommen, die Insel ist wirklich schön. Die Kommunikation mit Marilena ist angenehm und unkompliziert. Ich kann Marilenas Haus wärmstens empfehlen.
