The family that has lived in the house for generations has protected it, but it was planned to be demolished because of the financial issues in 2014. In order to preserve the original landscape of the satoyama for the next generation, we revitalize the house as a membership guest house. However, the activities were stopped due to the pandemic. In June 2024 we reopened the house as a private accommodation place (rental vacation house).

Would 100% recommend staying here for any traveller coming to Japan looking to stay in a traditional Japanese home. Hiro, Nozomi and Satoko made me feel at home right away. The house was very clean and the amenities were excellent. The area is very peaceful and conveniently located. I never felt unsafe walking around, even at night. I was collected from the airport and even got to experience Japanese home cooking thanks to the hosts. Thank you for having me!
