Newly decorated, studio unit, situated close to Taupo town, walking distance to shops & restaurants. Fully fenced, with off street parking. A lockable space for 2 pushbikes. Private & self-contained, our studio is cozy when you want to stay in, and easy to come back to when you've been out sightseeing or at the Lake or hot pools. The heat pump & double glazed windows will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. There's everything you need here for a great stay in our lovely town.

Urban guest suite. Seperate from main house

The guest suite is bright, sunny and great for a short stay. With blackout blinds for privacy, darkness and temperature control. A sliding door separates the bathroom from the bedroom and we provide a heater or portable fan depending on the season. The space includes a fridge, toaster, kettle, Twinings herbal tea, instant coffee, and basic tableware. Please note there are NO cooking facilities (no oven or microwave) due to the small size of the room. Barstool and table for brekkie/cuppa tea.

Custom-Designed Taupō Tiny House: Kōwhai Korner

Custom-built, eco-friendly, tiny house peacefully nestled among kōwhai, plum, maple & feijoa trees on one of Taupō's township's largest sections (Richmond Heights suburb - 7 minute drive to CBD). Interior design is Scandinavian - light & airy. Recently built, the double-glazing, insulation & heat pump will keep you toasty warm in winter & cool in summer. Screens (unusual in Aotearoa) allow you to catch an evening breeze without uninvited insects sneaking in! Contactless check-in via lockbox.

The White Cottage

A quaint traditional period home set at the edge of a 100 acre farm. Although it is one of 3 homes on the property it still very much retains its unique quiet country feel. You’ll love the cottage because of its outdoor views down the valley, neighboring farmlets & dairy farms. It has extensive outdoor space being adjacent to the local forest park. My place is good for couples, small families. Being a hobby farm there is stock on the property which can be easily viewed from the cottage.

Cosy and immaculately clean, ground floor, private apartment, includes your own outdoor picnic area with views of Lake Taupo. Set amongst lovely lush gardens, this beautiful two story cottage has the BnB apartment downstairs. We offer extensive local knowledge, and happy to recommend local activities, restaurants, bars and cafes. Easy 10 minute walk to swimming beach and 30 minute walk to town center. Come and enjoy a lovely place to stay, while visiting the spectacular Taupo region.

Semi detached sunny compact studio joined to main dwelling by deck located on our lifestyle section. Studio has a deck divided from the main dwelling by a screen for privacy. Private entrance/lock box. Kitchenette, continental breakfast provisions on first morning supplied - microwave available (no stove top or oven) . Samsung Smart TV (Freeview TVNZ+ etc), you will require your own subscription for streaming services. Off street park. You will need a car as there is no public transport.

Take a break Taupo

This studio is located in a quiet cul de sac close to the lake. The studio is light and airy set in pretty gardens. You will have your own entrance with patio space to sit and enjoy a drink or have a BBQ. We are a 10 minute walk to the lake and a 6 minute drive to town. There is parking for one vehicle or plenty of parking on the road. The Studio has a kettle, toaster, and microwave. There is no oven or cooking facilities other than microwave or BBQ. BBQ must be cleaned after use.

We would love to welcome you to our exceptional John Scott home/apartment (with radiators!). John Scott is one of NZ’s premier architects and is renowned for designing unique buildings. Our home doesn’t disappoint and we are excited to share it with the Air BnB community. A self contained wing of our home sits in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We’re a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront :-)

Rainbows End Cottage

A cute, clean and cosy cottage in a peaceful and secluded native bush setting. Only a 2 minute stroll to the Lake or the beautiful spring fed Waitahanui River, and 10 minutes from the centre of Taupo township. 58 inch LED TV, Blu Ray DVD and movies as well as a heat pump air conditioner and free WiFi. Linen and bedding is provided. Please send an enquiry regarding pets prior to sending a booking request.

Self contained cosy unit 15 min walk from town. I live on site and work in town so available most of the time. Double bed with extra pillows, duvets and blanket if required. Located down the driveway next to the garage. Happy to have well behaved pets. Gate behind unit which goes direct onto the reserve. Smoking outside only. Parking off road right outside.
