Our modern home is 15 minutes drive from Taupo but still feels like a secret hideaway. It is quiet and private with majestic views of Lake Taupo and Mount Ruapehu - the sunsets are stunning. Perfect for a getaway all year round with outdoor areas and BBQ, large windows and an indoor, double-sided fireplace. We are 5 minutes from the very beautiful Whakaipo Bay, a quiet spot to walk or have a swim. You can also enjoy plenty of bush walks around the area. Hairdryer/toiletries/iron not provided

A quaint traditional period home set at the edge of a 100 acre farm. Although it is one of 3 homes on the property it still very much retains its unique quiet country feel. You’ll love the cottage because of its outdoor views down the valley, neighboring farmlets & dairy farms. It has extensive outdoor space being adjacent to the local forest park. My place is good for couples, small families. Being a hobby farm there is stock on the property which can be easily viewed from the cottage.

Great location, great shower, great beds!

I’m so happy to be able to share my wonderful home with others and supplement my pension 😀 The AirBnb rooms are separate from my part of the home. There’s 2 rooms and a bathroom. The bedroom has a queen double bed. The lounge has a king double bed and couch with a tv, a microwave, toaster, jug and fridge. It is quite roomy 6x4 mtrs. There is a small step up to the shower so take care coming out of it. You will enjoy beautiful Taupo. 😎

Hi Belinda and Andy We had an amazing stay! The ambiance of the place was perfect – calm, cozy, and beautifully arranged. Everything was so well-kept and thoughtfully set up. The view was absolutely stunning and made the experience even more special. We all had a great time and truly enjoyed every moment. The welcome card from you was such an unexpected and thoughtful touch – it really made us feel warmly welcomed, and we were so happy to see it. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Your Space Taupo. The home is spacious and homely. It was clean and the views were beautiful. We enjoyed the spa and our kids loved playing tennis at the courts. We also loved walking around the lake. It is only a short drive into town to enjoy the cafes and restaurants. The hosts were attentive and thoughtful and overall we had a 5 star stay and have recommended it to our friends. Thank you for a lovely holiday

This was honestly the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in – and I’ve travelled to quite a few countries! Kylie and Dan have created such a special place in Kinloch. The indoor-outdoor flow is beautifully done, making you feel connected to the natural surroundings while still completely comfortable. I loved how I had to be present – lighting the fireplace, soaking in the warm outdoor tub – it reminded me of my childhood home. There’s something really grounding and peaceful about that. We actually had plans booked for the evening and the next morning, which we had already paid for – but we ended up cancelling everything because we just wanted to stay in and soak up every moment in this beautiful space. Kylie and Dan were amazing hosts – thoughtful, warm, and accommodating. Their dog and cat came by for a few minutes, and they were just the cutest. We would’ve loved to have them around even more! This place is more than just a stay – it’s an experience. I can’t wait to come back.
