Nestled in a small valley, this quaint cabin is a perfect mountain getaway. Built in 1890, by the Lakes family, it has a romantic, rustic and nostalgic feel. If you are a history buff, interested in Appalachian culture, or just want a charming, outdoorsy and secluded getaway, this cabin is for you. Our 2-story log cabin (approx. 1,700 sq. ft.) provides plenty of outdoor refreshment with a spacious front porch and back deck with a dual gas/charcoal grill, balcony, wooden swing, and a firepit with plenty of cut firewood. It sits within a private holler on 105 acres along the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The rustic-chic decor inside combines antique furnishings, repurposed barn wood paneling, unique lighting, electric fireplace, and a claw-footed tub amidst modern conveniences.

Enjoy outdoor activities like, Natural Bridge State Park, Flat Lick Falls, S-Tree Tower Recreation area and Daniel Boone National Forrest, Redbird ATV Park, Wildcat ATV Park, Cumberand Falls, Laurel Lake, Turkey Foot, Sheltowee Trace Trail, and horseback riding. We also have parking for trailers on the property.
