17thC Barn in a Vineyard

GeorgeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a much needed break for my wife and I. This part of Devon is stunning Knowstone is gorgeous. Debbie and her husband were welcoming and helpful. I look forward to the first vintage from their fledgling vineyard. The Michelin starred Mason's Arms was a joy for our evening meal. Get to that pub while you can as they are looking for a buyer. All highly recommended.

Farm stay in Rural North Devon

WillRating, 5 stars9 months ago
My partner and I had a great weekend away at the Moonacre Farm! We arrived quite late, but was greeted by Alison who was lovely. She had set up the lodge perfectly, with fairly lights lit and all the amenities described. She provided info on the surrounding area and was amazing to us all weekend. The place was very clean and had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on. In the morning, we woke up and fed the alpacas which was an amazing experience. Whilst staying here, we drove to Tavistock and Totnes which was only an hour away - great location. Perfect if you want a quiet weekend away.

Cornwall Beach House - Panoramic Sea Views

BenjaminRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fallows Leap

BaileyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Patsy was a great host. She was extremely helpful for me and my partner, and she was always quick to respond. She was attentive to detail, i.e marshmallows for toasting, little chocolates for Easter, breakfast hamper, and a cocktail making kit with free drinks. Over all, Fallows Leap was a great place to stay for a relaxing weekend and Patsy was a wonderful host. Would definitely stay here again. One thing I will add is that the bed was very comfortable, although if you’re tall, you won’t be able to stretch out properly. One person could lay comfortably if lay diagonally but if you’re with someone and you’re both tall you may struggle. Everything else was perfect 👌🏻

'The Weekender' @Cleavefarmcottages, Crackington

AliRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at the weekender. Stayed for 4 nights. Sarah‘s instructions were great for finding the place. It offered everything we wanted in terms of being right next to the south coastal path and offering peace and quiet in a relaxing environment There is a bus route about 25 min walk away. Make sure you stock up on shopping as you won’t want to leave. Comfy bed and sofa and lovely shower. Thank you Sara for making us so welcome.

Quirky, comfortable, converted Chapel

StephanieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This place was so interesting. I felt right at home instantly. There are very thorough instructions on how everything works. Starting the fire was so easy and warmed everything right up, I preferred that to using the Nest but you do have the option. I would recommend The Kings Arms for a drink. Just a1 min walk away. Everyone was so welcoming there! I would definitely recommend staying here!

Retreat, relax and restore-

VaishnavRating, 5 starstoday
The little house with a big heart!! This is a listing put together with care, and importantly, with the guest at heart. The stay offered everything it promises and more, and Beth was a friendly and proactive host. The views are incredible with wild ponies being frequent visitors throughout the day. We had an amazing stay and will certainly look to return. Highly recommended for the super-comfy bed (and stay), breathtaking views, location and friendly service.
