Over 100 years old stockhouse in a little village in the archipelago of Maxmo in Vöyri. The atmosphere is calm and quiet in the village. The place is 10 km from the local center and 40 km from the city center of Vaasa, the capital of the Pohjanmaa/Österbotten county. The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.

Unfortunately there is no access to water in winter time. But if you like winter swimming, we´ll keep the ice open to take a dip in the Sea. A sofa bed for 2 pers and a small loft for 2 kids is available. Floor heating, a cosy stove, all cooking possibilites and WIFI is for your convenience.

Our house was put up in the year 1900 but the logs probably much older. It is ideal for spending time together in front of the fire, cooking, a walk in the forest, bathing in the outdoor wood heated sauna, or weather allowing hanging out on the terrace. The house is fully equipped.

My great grandfather built both the guesthouse and the main building in the 1920's. The rental property consists of a log cabin with an old atmosphere and a modern sauna building, which houses the property's third spacious living room/bedroom. Here you can enjoy your own peace. Tastula Lake (swimming beach) is about 800 m away and Kaustinen center with services is about 6 km away.

A big sauna is located in the bathroom. The house is our private recidence, and we have our belongings in the house. The house is located 350m from a supermarket.

Sigges Inn is a private accommodation of about 70 m2 consisting of kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms. In addition, there is a large terrace (100m2) as well as a glazed terrace (30m2) with outdoor kitchens available. The accommodation is suitable both for a couple or a family. Pets are also allowed. Breakfast can be ordered against separate fee.
