Le logement était super. La vue depuis la terrasse magnifique ! Nuno est un hôte extrêmement gentil. Il répond vite et nous a donné plein de recommandations. Le départ et l’arrivée au logement ont été rendus très simple et agréable grâce à lui. De plus, Ponta do sol est un endroit très pratique: un supermarché avec station essence juste en bas du village, de très bons restaurants et la plage étant un endroit magnifique pour voir le coucher de soleil. Je ne peux que recommander cet endroit pour séjourner à Madère. Cela a été un vrai coup de coeur !

Wir haben hier eine tolle Woche erleben dürfen. Wunderschöne Lage, tolle Wohnung und Pool, sehr sauber und ruhig. Sergio und seine Familie sind tolle Gastgeber und hatten viele Tipps und Informationen parat. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

This is a beautiful place! The pictures did not do it justice. It was open and spacious, we felt relaxed the minute we stepped in! We traveled with our 3 adult children and we had plenty of space. There were a lot of extra touches-fresh flowers, a cooler to use, swim towels, complimentary cake and wine, and blankets for use out on the patio. The parking was convenient as we rented a car for travel on the island. We took the path to town and wish we would have done this earlier to enjoy the beach. The view was mesmerizing and we even saw some dolphins! dolphins! We woredolphinsdolphins

Eva’s place was really lovely! We really appreciated how welcoming the hosts were and helpful throughout our stay. The home was simply superb: beautifully located, quiet and an amazing view (we specially loved all the sunsets we enjoyed through our balcony), with a nice hiking in the neighbourhood and many other ones reachable by car. We would definitely recommend it and be happy to enjoy it in a future visit.

Home away from home. Christians place in Paul do Mar felt immediately like home to us. The apartment is spacious, clean and super comfortable within an amazing location in the super cute village of Paul do Mar. There is plenty of parking closeby, a supermarket to walk to and a great seafood restaurant and snack bar next door. We loved the balcony nestled between mountains, banana fields and the ocean. You can hear the calming sound of the ocean in the apartment and we slept so well. We definitely will choose to come here again and can highly recommend. Thank you!

me and my friend had an excellent stay here! the apartment was clean and cosy with everything you could need. the hosts were communicative and helpful. the surrounding area of Seixal was georgeous.

Wat een mooie plek! 😍 We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Gabriel die telkens voor ons klaarstond. De communicatie met Janine was ook altijd goed. Al onze vragen werden telkens heel snel beantwoord. De accomodatie was piekfijn in orde, helemaal niets op aan te merken. De poezen op het domein waren heel erg lief en we werden steeds hartelijk ontvangen door hen. 🙂 Gabriel, Janine, bedankt! Jullie zien ons zeker terug!

We hebben samen met onze kinderen enorm genoten van ons verblijf. Het appartement is heel gezellig en prachtig ingericht, met oog voor detail en heel proper. De ligging is ideaal, kort bij Calheta Beach en andere mooie plekjes in de buurt. Alles is heel vlot verlopen en de communicatie met de host was uitstekend. Een echte aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar comfort, rust en een goede uitvalsbasis om Madeira te verkennen!

Thank you Kevin for a lovely stay in Madeira! We loved being able to watch the sunset from the balcony and listen to the sound of waves as we fell asleep. The location of this apartment is perfect - a short walk to a few spots along the coast for dinner or drinks and an easy drive to many gorgeous beaches and hikes on the island! Great option if you are wanting to get out of the busier Funchal area. We will be recommending this spot to anyone we know who is traveling to Madeira! Kevin was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, including setting us up with an easy rental car service!

Had a fabulous 9 day stay at Casa Silva! The place was clean, organized, and as advertized. Met Irene's mother, Maria, at a nearby church, and followed her to the location of the Airbnb. She provided a tour of the space, along with some wine and fresh organic eggs. Tip - the roads are steep, stick to the main road and you'll be fine! Felt very comfortable and safe at Casa Silva. Irene was very quick to respond to any questions. Thank you for the hospitality! Will definitely choose Casa Silva for the next Madeira trip!

Nous avons séjourné 5 nuits dans le logement de Maria et Albertino et nous avons très bien été accueillis. Les hôtes vivent juste à côté mais ce n’est pas du tout dérangeant, le logement est très bien situé pour faire le sud et le coté ouest de l’île. L’annonce est en adéquation avec ce qu’il y a dans le logement, cuisine très bien équipée et superbe vue toute la journée. Merci à Maria et Albertino pour leurs recommandations et leurs petits présents. Je recommande, c’est un vrai coup de cœur

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The view is truly stunning and the apartment has a beautiful balcony that you can sit and relax on. Apartment is in a good location - close to shops, restaurants and bars plus easy transport routes into Funchal. The rooftop communal pool is an excellent feature and great for a morning swim to start the day. Apartment was clean and had all the amenities that we needed - we appreciated the welcome gifts that were left waiting for us on arrival. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I was to return to Madeira.

Appartement confortable et très propre avec parking. Bien placé pour visiter Madère surtout la partie Ouest (nous n’avons pas changé de logement pour visiter la partie Est). Merci pour le délicieux gâteau au chocolat, les fruits et les œufs qui nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Bon rapport qualité prix. Un seul petit bémol, peut-être penser à des rideaux occultants pour les chambres.

Wir haben 4 wunderschöne Tage in der unglaublich schönen Unterkunft verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist direkt am Meer gelegen sodass man von morgens bis abends mit der traumhaften Aussicht verwöhnt wird. Die ganze Unterkunft ist sehr schön eingerichtet und auch der Blick vom Fenster auf die Bananen-Plantage hat uns sehr beindruckt. In der Wohnung gibt es alles was man braucht. Gutes und schnelles Internet, gut eingerichtete Küche und genügend Platz. Zu erwähnen ist auch der sehr gepflegte Garten mit der Pergola und der Hollywood-Schaukel, von wo aus man einen super Sonnenuntergang geniessen kann. Steffi und Alex haben wirklich ein kleines Bijou geschaffen und man sieht die Arbeit dahinter. Die Kommunikation mit den beiden hat bestens geklappt und wir waren froh, um das flexible Check-In. Die Unterkunft würden wir jedem wärmsten empfehlen :)

Die Aussicht der Wohnung ist spektakulär. Die Gegend ist ruhig. Wenn man beim Schlafen jedoch sensibel auf Geräusche reagiert, besser mit geschlossenem Fenster schlafen. Somit hört man den morgendlichen Verkehr nicht, und die Hunde und den Hahn in der entfernten Nachbarschaft auch nicht. Julie ist sehr hilfsbereit und immer schnell zur Stelle, wenn man etwas braucht. Zur Begrüssung hatte sie Gebäck und Madeira gebracht. Zu beachten ist, dass die Terrasse nicht mit der Wohnung verbunden ist. D.h. man muss zuerst aus dem Haus hinaus und dann auf die Terrasse. Das Auto konnte ich bequem auf dem Grundstück parken. Ich werde den Ausblick vermissen! Ich kann die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

We really enjoyed our stay here, would definitely recommend it to everybody! Marta's gave us great advice on what we could do in the eara. When we had any questions she was quick to respond and give some tips. Great place to stay for your holiday!

Un très bel endroit, propre et tranquille. Il est facile d’accéder à la route principale et de visiter Madère. Réponses rapides de l’hôte, que de bons mots! :)

Alles super! Die Kommunikation verlief problemlos. Die Lage ist optimal. Von dort aus kommt man über all gut hin und es gibt über die Straße direkt ein Einkaufszentrum mit Supermarkt. Danke !

L’appartement est sublime et spacieux. Traversant vue mer des deux côtés. Tout le nécessaire est à disposition jusqu’au gel douche et sèche cheveux. Le logement dispose d’une piscine avec vue mer. L’hôte est accueillante et flexible. Elle a la gentillesse de nous donner des indications sur les choses à faire à Madère.

We are glad we booked at this spot! The balcony was wonderful to have and everything was clean. What stood out the most was our very responsive host making sure we got all checked in even while her car was broken down on the side of the road! Despite the emergency, she responded to all our messages promptly and helped us check in. I was extra grateful when I woke up extremely sick from some bad fruit the night before and we were allowed a late check out until I recovered! We even left one of our passports at check out and she made sure the staff kept it safe for us. Very helpful owners, would recommend.

Betty is the top host! She welcomed us with open arms. Very fast to respond, friendly and helpful! We were able to check out in the afternoon and enjoyed our last lunch at home before leaving for the airport. The view of the mountains is breathtaking at day and night time. The apartment is absolutely huge. It was our 3rd visit to Madeira with our elderly mum. She got beautiful bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Betty also got an armchair for mum so she could relax on the balcony. We had such a comfortable and great stay! highly recommended!

Great place! We loved the location, the flat had everything we needed, and the host was very kind. Perfect starting point for trips along the coast. We'd love to come back and stay longer next time :)

Nice apartment to stay for a long holiday with beautiful views of Praira Formosa. Infinity pool, ample space, well equipped kitchen and washing machine. Free parking in the apartment's garage. The location was perfect being just outside of Funchal with easy access to ER 101. The apartment sits up on the hill with a short walk to the promenade; you can walk either towards Camara de Lobos or Funchal. Lots of restaurants on the promenade and on Estrada Monumental. There is a supermarket (Continente) just 2-3 blocks down the street from the apartment. The local host met us at the apartment to show us around. The apartment was clean and comfortable coming home after a day of hiking (purchase trail tickets 3E on Simplifica for all the PR# trails). A car is a must if you are going to hike and see Maderia. No Jacuzzi and gym is old and poorly equipped.

This was a beautiful Airbnb with a great patio. Tons of wonderful restaurants were in walking distance. Paulo was a very friendly host and even delivered fresh bread every morning!
