Maison La Lanterne is a holiday house run by Eliza & Michael, located in the tiny peaceful village of Bassigney in the north of the Franche-Comté and on the border of the Vosges. Recharge your body, mind and spirit surrounded by picturesque landscapes, tranquil vibes, and cozy yet stylish interiors. Ideal for activities like hiking, cycling, canoe kayak or fishing, but you will also find towns to visit if you are hungry for culture. The closest commercial facilities are 3 km from the village.

Country cottage

Our cottage "Jardins de lune", adjoining our home, accommodates up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms and is located 2 km from the Saône and Véloroute 50 La Voie Bleue. With independent access and opening onto a large garden and fields, it will offer you an ideal setting for rest and relaxation. Recently furnished with natural materials (wood, earth-straw wall) that give it a simple and warm appearance, our cottage is well insulated and remains comfortable in any season.

Welcome in our small log cabin in the heart of the Vosges mountain area in France. Enjoy a cosy interior for your stay with friends or as a couple. The place is equiped with a kitchen(ette) that allows you to prepare a simple dish, a bathroom, toilets and two bedrooms on the first floor. Whether you come to relax or for long hikes in the surrounding mountains, we are happy to welcome you. We can help you with suggestions in fluent English, French or Dutch.

De Beekhut, self-catering and with a terrace

At the end of our property (2 hectares) is our brand new (2022) built Beekhut next to the babbling brook. A place where you can get away from the world for a while, where you can cook, have a refrigerator and even soon a (solar?) shower! Where you can sit quietly on your own terrace and no one sees you. Where peace, space and nature can come to you in full. Welcome to our Beekhut! Oh yes, pets are only welcome in the Beekhut in consultation!
