Amazing property. Everything was exactly how it was described in the listing, or better. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. Our stay was peaceful and quiet with an incredible view.

Great little apartment for our family of 4. Very convenient to walk to anywhere in town. Comfortable beds, but there are not bunks in the second bedroom as shown in the pictures. It was adequate for our stay and had all we needed.

Modern Monteagle A-frame with Hot Tub

WendyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Loved this place I definitely recommend! It was private but also had other homes nearby so you weren’t completely alone in the woods haha. They recommended amazing hiking spots that my husband and I went to see and it was so fun. We’re from Illinois so it’s mostly corn fields so hiking through mountains and seeing the waterfalls was just an amazing experience. Overall this home was lovely and our hosts were friendly/great people. Must see.

Natsukashii Haus -Ghibli tribute

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed in two different "rooms" on back-to-back nights, copying this review for both of them. Amazing space, right out of the Studio Ghibli universe. Meticulous detail in every aspect, and a one-of-a-kind space that we're lucky to be able to drive to. Easy parking, and once the door shut behind us, we were off in another world. Room for 2 adults and 2 kids to experience the magic. We watched our favorite Ghibli movies and some new ones, all provided, and enjoyed the in-room scavenger hunts and opt-in "extras". We had a blast, and tears were shed having to leave. No cooking is allowed in-room, but we planned ahead and there are a few local restaurants a short drive away. We spent the day with a day-hike to the waterfalls at Cloudland Canyon. If any of the Ghibli movies speak to your heart, you owe this place a a visit.

the tiny bungalow @ waters edge | tiny house

Beautiful, comfortable, well organized, tiny home in Tracy City. My purpose for this trip was a funeral, and it felt so peaceful and healing to come home and be surrounded by nature. The sound of the birds was so beautiful to wake up to. I was so happy to see labels on everything, so organized, and looked exactly as the photos. Great job decorating. Thank you for sharing your space with us.

Starry Night on Monteagle-Retreat @ Water’s Edge

JessicaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay here. The house looks exactly like the photos - very clean and comfortable. There were just two of us, and the space was perfect. I have no negatives about the property at all! Some notes for those coming to stay here - the kitchen is stocked, but if you need something specific, I would say bring it just in case. There are baking sheets and pots and pans, but nothing in the way of a casserole dish or deeper dish to bake anything in. There's also no cheese grater or measuring spoons. We were able to work around it, but I just like knowing these things when I'm packing! One other note - the downstairs bed is VERY firm. Like so firm it could be uncomfortable to some. The bed in the loft is more comfortable, but since there are a ton of curtain-less windows in that area (which is beautiful!) we opted not to sleep up there.
