Holiday rentals with lake access in Jefferson County

Tammy is a fantastic host, and we loved staying at her super cute place! I had gotten sick the same day we were arriving, and within the first 5-10mins she was making tea for me. She goes above and beyond, communicates well, and is friendly and welcoming. Captain’s Cove was such a lovely place to stay - there are stores and restaurants 10-15mins away, but it still feels very private and quiet. Beautiful surroundings, it was so nice to sit on the porch and relax. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and looked as advertised. Would absolutely recommend to anybody looking to enjoy the energy of Louisville but still be able to sit back and relax at the end of the day!

This is our second stay at Progress Park. This time staying in the Lake house, the peacefulness and view as you drink your coffee is amazing. The owners are wonderful and so caring. You can tell they care about your experience and want you to have beautiful memories. The house has everything you need. Our group had two houses there and cooked for 15 people every meal, the Lake House kitchen had everything you needed. The shower is amazing. Plenty of space for people to spread out. The beds were sooooo comfortable. WiFi worked great. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

This house is absolutely fantastic. Super clean, super comfortable. The beds and pillows are amazing. I would highly recommend this house for any gathering. We were a group of four men doing bourbon trail related things, and relaxing at night next to the fire pit and in the hot tub.

Great location to walkable activities in a peaceful neighborhood. the house was beautiful and worth the rental price, great kitchen and common areas, porch was great for morning coffee, extremely friendly neighbors and a definite place to go back to

An absolutely stunningly beautiful, and comfortable, home and gardens. Sheer perfection! And the most congenial host and hostess you could hope to meet; southern hospitality at its most gracious. There is something beautiful, whimsical, lovely to see at every turn. We will be back again and again, (if they will have us). This place is truly special, a work of love, inspiring!

Every year the grounds get more mature and beautiful!! The owners are always such a pleasure to interact with and the thought put into all the wonderful outdoor activities are remarkable! We do a large family glamping trip yearly, something we always look forward to!

Beautiful place to stay. View is breathtaking! The mansion is gorgeous. The structure on the inside was amazing. Loved the elevator! We stayed in the blue room. It was comfortable and had a quaint little balcony to sit and watch the wildlife or sip on coffee. The hosts were great. Very friendly and the hospitality they showed all of their guests was great. We loved the four little Westie puppies. They were precious. The breakfast that was prepared was delicious and they even prepared a fresh pot of coffee for us. We enjoyed sitting out in the gazebo watching the fish and turtles as we sat out over the water. We would absolutely recommend them and will return some day!

Me and my family enjoyed our stay at Everdith's place we felt right at home she was a very responsive host, if we are ever in the area we'd love to stay again!

Went to the Kentucky Derby with a group of friends. He graciously left us a derby care package at check-in. This place was perfect for 8 guys who just were looking for a place to sleep and have a BBQ in the driveway. Pillows could use an upgrade, and the closet in the bunk bed room had games and toys thrown about, but overall a good place to stay and worth the money of the rental.

Had a very nice time here, enjoyed the hot tub and watching T.V.

We are repeat guests at One Goat Farm! Love everything about the place - clean, peaceful, friendly, bright, and welcoming. Tracy is a very responsive host and care was put in to make the tiny cottage lovely, warm and feel like home. I call it my 'deep breath' place. Thank you and till next time :)

We enjoyed our stay very much. Home was exactly what we were looking for with our selection. Peaceful area with hiking near the home in the Taylorsville State Park.

We had a wonderful time staying at Jared’s cottage! Felt right at home! There was an issue with the hot tub but he had someone come out right then and there to take care of the issue. Very responsive and flexible!

After the recent passing of my Mom, I needed a getaway to relax , unwind and clear my head . I wanted someplace cozy and private, surrounded by nature. I knew nothing of the area but was very pleased. So quite and relaxing. SUPER clean, very impressive, no details overlooked. While relaxing in the hot tub, you could hear an owl calling in the distance. Exactly what I needed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us.
