Family-friendly holiday rentals in Jefferson County

Rhonda’s place was perfect for our family (including our dog) to stay in during our visit to Olympic national park! We appreciated the room, all the amenities, the nice fenced yard and the toys for our little ones. Rhonda was super friendly and responsive the entire time during our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and close (driving) to town for anything you may need.

My group of 4 stayed at this Airbnb when visiting Olympic National Park. It is a tight space for 4 people but definitely manageable. We’ve been on multiple trips together and this place located on the lake is definitely the most beautiful. We took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards the Airbnb provided! The view in the morning is insane. I would recommend anyone to stay here especially if they want to get away and feel a sense of peace.

We loved our stay in this beautiful home! Great location, close to a beach for walking, and easy drive to restaurants and areas for wonderful walks. Lovely garden and outside area to sit. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook simple meals. A perfect place for a get away.

Their place is truly beautiful and very nicely decorated. It had everything we needed and more. So nicely decorated...cozy and homey. Would definitely recommend. Tim and Joanna sent us many detailed emails and all were very helpful.

Richard is a great guy, very helpful! The view from the great room is breathtaking! The view goes down a straight stretch of salmon river to wooded slopes in the distance going up to majestic snow-covered peaks. You can see it clearly through the glass windows in the great room, and from a very nice Well done patio. Love the place!

The eco-cabin was amazing- a beautiful location; quiet and peaceful in the woods. The rustic cabin had so much character, and was just as described. It was charming, slow living close by beaches, Fort Flagler state park and Port Townsend. Waking up to birdsong gazing up at the trees and stars visible in the loft skylight in the early hours is healing medicine. Gotta love early mornings with coffee, breakfast and friends on the porch. Marrowstone Island Winery is a 6 minute drive away, and is a must if you like excellent wine. The Nordland General Store ( 9 minutes away) is lovely and has all the essentials.

It’s not easy to please my parents with Airbnbs, but they were both overjoyed with this place! It’s so clean, comfortable, and close to all the fun ONP has to offer. We will be back - only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. That view and mountain air from the hot tub cannot be beat.

This home is THE place when you need a true vacation! First, the directions were very clear and the check-in was seamless. Second, the landscaping is so lush and vibrant. You feel like you are stepping away from the world. Third, inside is fantastic! From comfy beds, beautiful artwork, plentiful towels and linens, to absolutely everything you could ever need, the home was perfect! But most of all, the view! Can you beat watching a bald eagle fish right in front of you, with Mt. Rainier in the background? Amazing! I would rent here again without any hesitation. Thank you for helping to make our vacation just perfect!

I hesitate to write this because we want to go back and stay longer! A great house with a well appointed kitchen. Susan was so quick to respond to questions. The view is incredible. A perfect place for our granddaughter and a good kitchen to cook in. Bathrooms were immaculate.

My friends and I stayed here for a short roadtrip and really enjoyed our time here. Its a perfect midway point between the ferry and Port Angeles/Hurricane Ridge. Diane is a very friendly host, and her dogs were wonderful. If you’re a musician, bring your instrument!! We had the opportunity to jam with some of Diane’s family, and that was definitely a highlight. The surrounding nature is beautiful, and the property is a great escape if you’re someone who needs it. Would 100% recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area.

This was the second time my family visited Tracy's place. We absolutely love it! We feel right at home and appreciate all the little touches such as multiple types of tea choices, extra pillows for each person to find the one they like best, and a super friendly dog for the kids to play with. Also, we love how close it is to the Olympic biking/walking trail, and we loved the yard and open space for the kids to run.

Tammy was an amazing host. The unit was as advertised, and very comfortable. The location was beautiful. Tammy was very proactive in communicating. She sent us a list of recommendations in advance. On the day of our arrival I mentioned the eta of our arrival. I indicated that we hoped to arrive in time to watch the NBA finals. Tammy let us know that sadly her internet was down. She had been trying to rectify this issue, but I would not be able to watch at her place. She did research which local places would be airing the game and provided us a list. Tammy, our next visit to the area will include a stay with you! Thank you!

Cannot beat the location! Right across the street from the national park visitors center. Easy to find based on the instructions given since the house sits back off the road a bit. Other reviews mentioned a pet smell. I have a very sensitive nose and there was a slight smell that I got used to very quickly (which isn’t normally the case) so it definitely wasn’t anything deal breaking. The place was clean so no complaints there! It’s hard to find a place with 3 beds and 2 baths for this price! Really a great stay and would recommend.

David and his partner were wonderful hosts. Very welcoming and accommodating. I felt right at home. The property is peaceful and green/lush. There were some nice extras in the fridge and in the kitchen area. I would definitely go back for more R&R.

The condo was great in every way for our visit and for our purposes. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, the well-equipped kitchen, the large dining table (instead of the common, but ridiculous Air BnB bistro table that barely accommodates one person), and the good quality linens. Joyce was a great communicator until we checked-out, then I never heard from her again and was hoping to get a response to my messages. Joyce was able to coach me through the TV and DVD player's connections and was able to troubleshoot from afar. This was impressive! This property won't be available for long as it is being sold. That's too bad as we would love to rent it again in the future. Highly recommend Joyce as a property manager.

Beautiful condo, full of amenities, comfy bed, gorgeous views. Perfect for longer stays. We were only there for a couple of nights, making it hard to justify all the air BnB fees, but not the hosts fault. Would certainly rent again when we have longer time to visit my grandsons.

Kivaans place was perfect for what we were looking for. A place to stay the night while exploring the Olympic peninsula. It was super clean. It is part of a Wyndham resort so it felt more like a hotel, which was great!

Lara is a fabulous host! Her house amenities are abundant and well thought out! She has provisions for everything you would want or need. She is also very accommodating and responsive! Great personality! Her location is just remote enough to be peaceful but close enough to all local attractions and businesses to be very convenient. Thank you, Lara, for providing such a wonderful place and experience!

Kivaan’s place was absolutely perfect for a 3-day get-away with friends from out of town. The layout is perfect, the view is magical and we would stay there again without hesitation.

We loved our stay at this location. The views are spectacular, including the water, the mountains, the eagles soaring by and one humpback whale! The kitchen includes everything you could possibly want or need--even knives that are sharp! The bedrooms are comfortable as are the common areas. The pool was a major high point for all of us, and the house comes with lots of other fun toys for indoors and out. We plan to return!

After a big challenge with a different short term rental company Lorie’s place was a last minute “save the family Christmas weekend” option and it turned out great. Lorie let us book same day and was very responsive. The place was beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks for having us.

We loved our stay here on the water. The location was great for hiking and kayaking. The house was clean and and well stocked, including extra amenities, like games and a fire pit with firewood. The house is very responsive to our questions and messages. We highly recommend
