Kelly’s place was a gem of a villa. Perfect for families, great attention to detail and a wonderful garden. Poolside is serene and the rooms are very comfortable and well styled. Kelly is a great host and great communicator and the staff are welcoming and helpful! Karibu!

It was a wonderful experience in a magical place surrounded by nature. A small oasis in the middle of a well kept forest with a view of the River. It’s one of those places you would love to come back.

Our stay at the house was absolutely delightful! The house is clean and cozy, with a beautiful garden and a kitchen which is well-equipped. Kieth the host was incredibly accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Two young kids loved it. It was peaceful and relaxing. Grace, Sarah, and Ziva were all so kind and friendly and they took really good care of us. It was much more like visiting friends than staying at just another nice place.

The place is easily accessible and it's everything as describes; the rooms are well lite, beautifully adoned and spacious. I enjoyed the entire accomodation experience at this house.

We absolutely loved staying here. My family of six stayed here for 25 days and the staff made us feel right at home. Everything was amazing. They were able to adjust our menu on what we wanted for our meals. We decided to get more than just the provided breakfast and pay for some lunches and dinners which was great and way easier than going into town for each meal.

Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Es war sehr sauber, Catherine ist super flexibel gewesen mit den Check in und Check out Zeiten. Jederzeit war jemand erreichbar und als es ein technisches Problem mit der Waschmaschine gab, wurde dieses sofort behoben und Catherine hat sich sogar um unsere Wäsche gekümmert, was wir nicht erwartet hätten. Nachts ist es ruhig, doch am frühen Morgen hört man die Moschee in der Nähe. Alles in Allem kann ich die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und ich würde wieder kommen.

Gemütliches Zimmer mit schönen, stilvollen Details, wunderbarer Blick auf den Viktoriasee. Die Veranda am Zimmer lädt zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein, umrankt von üppigen Grünpflanzen. In dem kleinen Restaurant bzw der Bar sind einige warme Speisen und viele Getränke erhältlich, so dass man nicht unbedingt auswärts essen gehen muss. Der Blick vom Restaurant ist genauso schön, wie vom Balkon, es gibt einige Spiele und Bücher und es ist leicht, die Zeit an diesem Ort zu vergessen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt in der Nähe, auf derselben Straße, eine Diskothek, wo man freitags und samstags gut bis zum Morgen tanzen gehen kann, wenn man Spaß daran hat. Der Nachteil ist, dass die Musik in der Unterkunft zu hören ist. Ohrenstöpsel sind daher von Vorteil. Ansonsten ist Home on the Nile eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, weshalb ich nun schon zum zweite Mal ein Zimmer für mehrere Tage gebucht habe.

Joanita’s place was lovely, genuinely even better than the pictures. Absolutely spotless, great decor, amazing location (we were there for the Nyege Nyege festival) and very spacious. Ali was great and very helpful the whole time - also a genuine pleasure to speak to. There are also so many amenities within just a few blocks - restaurants, cafes, bars, forex exchange shops, banks / ATMs… etc. - really anything you might need. I will definitely be staying here again if and when I return to Jinja.
